Ampol Swagman Roadhouse

On the many occasions i have called through here, i have always found friendly staff, very large car parks, especially for trucks, clean toilets, and showers. Food is good and still hot when ordered. Plenty of shop items available also.

We stopped for a lunch at the roadhouse, and the food was delicious and the staff so friendly. Specially thanks to Tomas, he was so helpful!

This was my stop as the caravan park didnt answer the phone and I was very pleased with it ..... yes it is mainly a truck stop but it also has self contained ensuite rooms for 100 bucks a night and caravans for 90 .... the hotels in mt magnet are very old and dilapidated ... when I was here I dont even know if the were open or at least not very busy ..... even the traffic on the road isnt busy .
Great food here and specials every night I had roast beef and veg and it was top notch ..... staff were all friendly and helpful so no complaints..... remember folks this is outback australia .....

Had a breakfast here while waiting for the coach to take me to Perth (Mullewa).
Ordered eggs on toast plus spicy sausage and cup of cappuccino. Average meal, fair price and quick service.
Place was busy but somehow can maintain its cleanliness.
Good place to have a little rest on your long road trip..

Stayed here for the night on way up north.
Room very clean, tidy & comfortable.
And had the steak sandwich for dinner and would have to say it's one of the freshest and best ones I have ever had. You can see the lady that cooked it actually cares about food and doesn't just put slop on the plate..

Reasonably priced fuel with great selection of food and essentials.

Ordered a vegetarian pizza for my girlfriend. It was not on the menu however the chef was nice enough to make one up for us. Nicest pizza to date lots and lots of various toppings. Would highly recommend.

One of the few places in Mt Magnet where one can get good food and honestly priced fuel 24 hours a day. Their legendary breakfasts are especially good value. Good clean showers (remember town water here is hard Calcium rich water) that work 24/7. The overworked staff always do their best to oblige, even when they are very tired.

All ways get looks after by the super friendly staff.And they know food and make great coffee it's clean and plenty of stock to chose from

Staying overnight in the accommodation and the rooms are clean and have all the basics you need for a stopover

Food selection was very poor but I didn't get there till about 7:30pm no pies no nothing. So I just got my truck diesel and left. On other occasions when I got there & there kitchen was open there steak egg and cheese burger with salad and beetroot and tomato & bbq sauce and sour cream is surpurbe.

The staff here did an amazing job over the two days myself and a heap of other Truckies were stuck there due to road closures(cyclone damage), they accommodated us in the best way possible, they were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, well except us Truckies, Hahahahaha

New management have done a great job. Staff are friendly and polite. Fresh food. Great place to stop for a feed.

Went to fuel up my car tonight at near closing time, great customer service by the young lady at the counter.
