Laidley Showgrounds

Great showgrounds, Lovely Caretaker's Roy and Helen, 20min walk to Laidley village which is a lovely little town some lovely shops and cafe's highly recommend stopping here 😀

We paid $20 per night for a powered site for two people. Our power was 10 amp. The sites are grassed and spread out. The amenities are old but clean. It's about a 15 walk into town shops. It's dog friendly too.

I went to a car show here and loved it. The Showgrounds are neat and tidy with clean amenities. There is stacks of parking and everything is at ground level.

Camping area managed by caretakers Roy & Helen, whom are friendly, respectful & personable, making your stay an enjoyable, hospitable experience, caring above & beyond roles of caretaking anywhere.
An invaluable asset to be appreciated by all.
One hopes their worth recognised by the Show Society & aptly recognised.
Amenities blocks are kept impeccably clean, the grounds are maintained regularly, all sites clean & tidy.
These caretakers are are above 5 star, a rare commodity these days.

The care takers Helen and Roy Donkin are beautiful people and have done an extraordinary job with keeping the showgrounds maintained. The toilets are nice and clean and the grounds are well kept. The other occupants seem to be happy and enjoying there stay.

Went to village of the doom and saw some awesome fire twirling a that absolutely stole the show

Stayed here for a week or so, and the grounds are kept clean and tidy, toilet and showers, dated, but always clean.
Enjoyed our stay, the care takers are just wonderful and very helpful.

Fantastic value for money. The office is not always attended, so be sure to ring the mobile number before you get there. The entrance to the Showgrounds is off Hayes Street. Absolutely beautiful area to be in. Fantastic sky show each day of sunsets and sunrises. Absolutely loved being here.

Camped at the grounds for a couple of weeks. Great grounds that are surrounded by green hills. Facilities are dated but operational.

Great motorcycle swap meet every year

My family and I assisted in the Laidley Show in an event (lawn mower racing) and were greeted with nothing but absolute country kindness! Great area for the show, will be back!

Beautiful day lots of interesting things. Roy & Lorna Winzer had wonderful Garden Art and Special Chairs with logos eg. Ford , Holden great for Mens Shed, patio, etc. A must see to believe. A great day lots of people. Put this event on your calendar .

Does need upgrade of showers and hot water service only one shower for men I put this down to the Gatton Shire not doing it's job the people that look after the grounds are friendly and very helpful I'll give the workers and Volunteers at this venue a 10 out of 10

Friendly staff, great place to pitch a tent or bring a caravan with convenience of a powered site.was cheap at 20 a night for a tent.
