This place is so funky I'll be back just to take happy snaps and try the wild seasonal flavours. You're greeted with an almost 70s style vibe with the orange walls and decor and text on the menu, long couches on the wall and a fun little photo wall to instagram
It up. The flavours are so unique, let's talk about the flavour "couch crumbs!" I had to get the waiter to explain it to me but think all the bits of chocolates, lollies and chips (a sweet and salty attack) smashed into ice cream. If I wasn't so full from a Mexican feast I would have smashed this but ended up going for something a bit fresher, coconut, mango & rice pudding. Very light and not gluggy like you would assume from rice pudding. So nice. My mate had the lemon Myrtle & mango sorbet (sooo citrusy) & buttermilk, blueberry and maple.. honestly a great maple hit! They do wild stuff like ice cream and chips here so next time maybe I'll come on an empty stomach. So cool! 😎

If you want high quality ice cream then this is the place you must visit! The ice cream has a silky smooth texture, excellent rich natural flavour as compared to others that have limited flavour and a synthetic after taste. Kenny Lover is simply brilliant in ice cream and its decor is unique to visit. Enjoy!

Incredible, original flavour combos! Wild and delicious with lots of vegan options. The whole look and vibe of this lil place is fun and over-the-top with orange velvet benches. The staff are divine too - so friendly and genuine. You feel so welcome and special here 😊😊😊😊😊 (five smiley faces out of five)

If you’re looking for ice cream and sorbet of unconventional taste, then this is the spot for you. Their flavours can sound daring but they’re delicious. Below is wattleseed tiramisu & pumpkin white choc. Their hot chips are also great!

I really enjoyed my time at Kenny lovers. Firstly the sigh outside totally captured my attention! Ice cream and hot chips, what a perfect combo! At first I thought the orange coloured walls was interesting but then it really all came together the 60s retro feel they were going for really worked, especially with the decor they had chosen. I love the fact that the tasters were vintage collectable teaspoons, so totally reusable and a cute touch, but they also provided water for patrons! Now for the food, the icecream was delicious!!! I had the toasted rice, coconut and mango and the popcorn and caramel fudge options and they were absolutely Devine, with the crunchy and tasty chips to dip it made the perfect combo!!!!! Overall I had a great experience and I thought that the little touches made the place! Will definitely come back!

Another great ice cream shop! Not as many flavors as some of the other places I’ve been to, but I didn’t mind it at all as it made the choice of flavor much easier - plus, they were all great flavors so no complaints there.

I had the watermelon sorbet and the brown butter caramel. Both were great but the watermelon sorbet was amazing! Would strongly recommend it if you’re looking for something non-milky.

We had our little hitching at Kenny Lover, and we loved everything about it! Dan was awesome and was a dream to work with. He helped us maintain the chill vibes we wanted for our event from start to finish. Nothing was too hard for Dan and he had no issue flexing when we needed to change details such as guest numbers and catering.
We chose the ‘Have Your Cake & Eat It Too’ package, and all our guests raved about the food - the canapés were delicious and the ice cream legendary! OMG, the Malted Milk and Chocolate Cereal Cake is one of the tastiest ice creams we have ever eaten!
Dan helped me with selecting the right celebrant when the package celebrant wasn’t available on our chosen date. We went with Shan from Ceremony Collab who was just amazing! Em Jensen from Em Jensen Creative, the Kenny Lover photographer, put me onto Laura from Had To Be You Weddings when she had another commitment. Em and Laura worked together on our photos and both were just beautiful. Dan, Shan, Em and Laura were some of the loveliest humans we’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
You won’t regret holding your wedding at Kenny Lover, just go for it!

Lovely ice creamery. Had the apple tart flavour and it was super delicious. Had candied apple in it and I love me some texture in my gelato. Would def come back.

Wow, our second visit and from the ‘mouths of babes’, our savvy 6 year old had her first bite and very firmly summised her ‘tandoori coconut’ icecream… “this is better than Messina!”
Blackberry Champagne was to die for, Matcha Tirimisu amazing and the cake peices delicious. Chips perfectly chunky but crispy enough for dipping and still soft and yummy potatoe inside. They appear handcut and made with love.
Dont know about the tomatoe sauce said child added to her icecream but we were all in our own icecream heaven so it didnt matter! Dont be misled by the bright exterior and fun fit out as these people take their icecream and food very seriously!

Makers of some of the most interesting ice cream I’ve ever tasted. I recently tried the kalamata and white chocolate, which is a delicious mix of briny and sweet with unique bitterness that’s balanced by the chocolate. It was really good and the soy sauce (which tastes like salted caramel) was even better. There are plenty of vegan options (try the galangal!) and more traditional flavours like pistachio, all served from what looks like a 70s living room. PS, Kenny Lover is still open for takeaway and delivery amidst covid restrictions and makes a great working from home treat.

Finally got around to trying out Kenny Lover and it was is hard to decide what to get! All the flavours sounds so yummy and interesting, and from the two flavours that I tried (Chocolate + Soy Sauce, and Fairy Bread + Brown Butter), I can confirm that it's amazing. Smooth and creamy, and flavours are on point. Love the vintage and funky vibe of the shop too.

Lots of cool flavours but honestly their basic chocolate gelato is one of the most excellent and intense flavours I’ve had.

Yes their ice cream is amazing and so was getting married there! I couldn't have asked for a more unique wedding venue that perfectly fit our foodie personalities. The staff were so lovely and friendly and the space had such awesome vibes for our wedding during Little Weddings for a Big Cause <3

I love gelato and ice-cream, and this place REALLY does weird and creative flavours well. Absolutely lovely service, great decor and vibe, generous scoops, and always something new and interesting to try.

Just go and have tasty ice cream or sorbets.

Delicious fruity gingery coconut vegan icecream. It is a very hot afternoon, but cool inside. I'll be back.

Seriously the best ice cream parlour. Amazing, interesting but seriously delicious flavours and perfect combinations, my kids are obsessed with hot chips and ice cream now and I think the ice cream jaffle is just on point. Treat yourselves.

Haven't had the hot chips (personally not to my taste palette but whatever it's a cool gimmick) but the non-dairy ice cream is superb. My favourite is the pear, caramel and coconut one.
