Glenrowan Kelly Country Motel

Owners Paul and Val were extremely friendly nothing was a hassle. Rooms very clean and tidy. . Beds were super comfy. Overall 5 out of 5, we will definitely be back. Thanks again Paul and Val for your amazing hospitality. The home made cookies were delicious.

I highly recommend borrowing one of the motel’s copies of the movie Ned Kelly to watch in your room, just 100m from where the Kelly gang had their last siege!

Wonderful customer service with a smile, just lovely. Room was clean. We ended up in a family room if you have kids book this room it’s fantastic ,big and roomy. Easy places to find dinner, fantastic breakfast at the local bakery.

The nicest Motel and Owner. Close by to all of the Ned Kelly History. The room was clean and had all the facilities needed.

Stopped overnight en route to hotham Owners were really nice to speak to on phone. Ensured heating was on prior to arrival so room was toasty. Room was spotless. Quiet area We did not see the town as left early in morning but the drive in snd front was also super tidy and garden well kept with flowers and plants. Would definitely stay again

Nice place for a short stay, The lady at the desk is very professional in responding to all queries and also she made some adjustments for me to book a room on urgent basis. Easy to get coffee as bakery is right beside this place.

We stayed 3 nights and it was lovely. The room was beautiful and warm thanks to the split system air-conditioning, even though it got down below 0 degrees outside overnight. The bed was really comfortable and the shower nice and hot with excellent water pressure. The service given to us by the owners was lovely and my husband really loved the handmade biscuits that were complimentary in our room. We will definitely stay here again. Thankyou so much

Great small country town Motel. Clean room. Small but clean bathroom. Excellent shower. Handy location between a hotel and a burger joint. Hotel served a great counter meal.

Lovely place to stay. Rooms are very clean and have plenty of room. They even have a good selection dvds at reception to take to your room to watch on the tv with a built in DVD player. Staff are very friendly. I spoke with Bev at reception, she was friendly and informative about the local area. Will be back again.

Room was clean, owners were lovely and helpful. Our little dog was welcomed. There is a hotel next door to the motel that serves great meals and is also a quiet place. On the other side is a takeaway shop. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The most comfortable place we stayed during our 5 days road trip. The services were above par and the hygiene was fantastic. Kelly has some amazing people working for her and Kelly herself is so amazing and so lovely to Talk to. Being a history teacher herself she shared some wonderful facts about Ned Kelly which i found very interesting and fascinating. Kelly also has a great collection of DVDs which she’s very happy to share with all her guests.
I wish Kelly and her team a very very Happy New Year 😍🥰

I enjoyed the stay. It's a typical motel, but I found the bed comfy and the nights I stayed there, it was very quiet. Can hear the freeway noise slightly, but that was "white noise".
No sharp noises like dogs barking, or noisy visitors, so all good.

Old school motel with basic amenities but spotlessly clean with crisp white sheets and nice fresh towels. Can't ask for more than that from a motel. Our room had brand new aircon too. It's also next door to a pub with a great bistro and two minutes walk to cafes, bakery and hamburger joint. Tip: book direct to get best price.

The lady who ran the place was so lovely and very helpful and friendly.
We stayed 2 nights and our room was awesome, even when we went out for the day the room was cleaned with fresh towels, etc left in our room.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Kelly Country Motel. Room was very clean and well presented. We arrived after hours so the staff were kind enough to leave our key and have the heating on for our arrival. Highly recommend the motel and would love to stay here again!

We loved the way interacting with Jeniffer from the start. Excellent motel with all basic amenities and in a very good location closer to nearby towns. Jenniffer helped us giving local info on booking tables next door and info on early morning breakie. Loved their DVD collection. It's a shame we stayed there for a night. We will be back again on a different occasion.

This motel is a great overnight stay, especially if you have an interest in the Ned Kelly story. The room came with a double and two bunk beds and while a tight fit for four we all got a good nights sleep. The staff were helpful, the room clean. We enjoyed the onsite pool in the afternoon. WiFi is provided but was a little slow so patience was required. The staff recommended booking a table at the local hotels bistro which is a good idea (we just got in) , as it was booked out on the night we stayed and its the only eats in town at night.

We stayed at the Kelly Country Motel in Glenrowan last night. The room was spotless and the owners just lovely. We would stay here again without hesitating.
