Walkaway Tavern

We popped in for a beer on the way to Geraldton. It's a gorgeous pub! There's something about drinking Swanny D at country pubs. The service was A+. We will definitely go for a meal next time.

Took the short drive there from Geraldton on a Saturday for lunch, it's a beautiful little country pub, the staff greeted us with a friendly smile, there's plenty of beers on tap, dining and seating indoors and outdoors in the beer garden, the food was tasty and decent sized portions, looking forward to going back there once the weather warms up more. 🤙🤙

Great pub food always tasty and fresh we just keep coming back for more , never had a bad meal hubby's favourite fish and chips, mine is the parmigiana.

Absolutely the best place for fish, chips and salad in Geraldton. Not to mention a nice cold beer as well 😉.

Wow, what a fantastic Country establishment! A friendly reception from the Manager / owner from behind the bar. The building is a well preserved 1907 tavern with a great outback feel.
The beers are cold and the food is exceptional. If you are looking for great food and an outback bar experience where you feel welcome, forget the larger town fare and checkout Walkaway. This is a must visit establishment for those looking for a genuine outback country reception.

Great little pub with good service when 45 of us rocked up with out warning.

Had lunch yesterday, great pub food, gardens nice. Lots of people enjoying the sunshine and good food. Will definitely go back.

Walkaway was one of the best country pubs ive been to for a long time. People were very friendly & helpful. Beautiful outside area with a large open fire very well setup.

What a wonderful country tavern, awesome meals grilled fish chips & salad, garlic prawns chips & salad, great service, cold drinks doesn't get much better

The food is AMAZING and the service is grand. Real family feel. Fire pit at the back in the winter as well as the comfortable feeling with the fire place inside sets it off
