Burwood Library

It's a nice place and for outside as well when me and my close and I took a nice break and went inside for a bit other than that it was a good place to read manga with two levels one on ground floor and the other on the top so again a nice decent place with a back side shady area.

So far the best library I’ve been to. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities inside are clean and there is also a water fill station inside. It is also very quiet, good for reading and studying.

Burwood Library is fantastic for families and professionals alike! My son loves the wide selection of children's books available, and I appreciate the convenience of borrowing and renewing books through the mobile app. The library is clean, and I've found it to be a great spot for getting work done. Highly recommend!

I was able to start my paper work and concentrate because of the very nice ambience in Burwood Library. 5 stars as it's the best library I have ever been to. Very clean toilet and comfy lounge areas. You can have your own peaceful space. Few good things here is that they have USB ports to charge your gadgets, and you can print documents. You're gonna need a card though--not sure yet how to get it. I will definitely go back to this library. I hope they can extend until 6pm.

This is my first time studying here, and I like this cosy little space.

When I got here, I was happily surprised that there was a pop up coffee shop right out of this library. I am willing to give a five star review for any libraries if there is a coffee shop 2m away lol.

Also, they have a rainbow sticker on the glass gate, which is another reason why I am happy to give a 5 star review.

I have posted 4 photos, and you can see they do put LGBTQIA+ contents out, and I really appreciate that they have a unisex bathroom (and another unisex/disabled bathroom). As a trans femme person, I don’t feel comfy using male/female bathrooms, and I would like to give a 10 star review for the bathrooms lol.

There are two main study areas as I have discovered, correct me if I was wrong. As per my posted photo, you can see they have comfy seats and USB charging decks for each seat, which is great for long studying sessions.

Overall, I am very happy with my time spent here.

I attend Burwood Babies every Tuesday and it’s so much fun for all the kiddos and for the parents. After visiting a few rhyme times in Sydney, it’s my favourite!

Wonderful study space. Reliable free internet connection and no issues with noise levels. Love the greenery natural lighting. Also the cleanest public toilets I've ever used!

So goooooood, and has a lot of books to read, there’s are two levels, first floor is for kids, and second floor is for adult and teens.

I’ve always found the staff helpful at Burwood Library. It’s a comfortable space & holds a great range of books etc. Good job all👍🙂

Very helpful staff and large multifunctional rooms. They running all kinds of artistic activities for kids and young teenagers. Try to use the new linking bridge.

Nice quiet place to study. Good range of books and HSC textbooks available. Free wifi that I’ve also used outside the library outside of operating hours. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Lady with short brown hair was so nice in helping me with the printing services today too :) love Burwood library

Freshly renovated.

This is a great library to study and read in or bring children to. The library has undergone many refurbishments. It is clean, new and quiet. There is a ground floor for children and taking the stars/lift at the back leads you to the upstairs where there are enough study spaces for all.

I come here often, it is a good library and I recommend it if you're in the area.

It is a very fine suburban library, well coordinated with the council, the building being shared. It is lively and enthusiastic.

a beautiful, clean, bright library! this is not my local library, but i’ve spent a good few hours here reading and studying, and it has been very pleasant. libraries are a great community resource, and this one in particular is lovely.

also, i’ve seen a lot of people in the other reviews complaining about loud kids, and also some people being pretty racist! the library is a place for all to enjoy.

Lovely library a short walk away from Burwood station. The entire first floor is dedicated to children contents and books for adult can be found on the second floor. Fast wi-fi, helpful patient staff and comfortably bright lighting. There is a nice terrace with tables on the second floor, though it's a bit bare. Along the wall on the first floor there are a few tables for two overlooking a spacious walk and a cute cafe.

What a little gem in the inner west, and an asset to the local community and surrounds.

Situated conveniently from Burwood train station, buses and a car park out front, it is light, bright, spacious and airy inside. I love all the glass windows, which bring all the greenery inside, and you can find a nice warm, sunny nook to browse or relax.

There is always friendly staff around who will go that extra step to help you, whether it's to sign up for a library card, use the photocopier, or see a JP (Justice of the Peace), which they are very helpful in arranging.

The JPs are also very patient, friendly, and without fault.

There are also some interesting courses/seminars that they offer, and lots more that I have yet to discover.

I have enjoyed every experience I've had at Burwood library, and wish everyone there a wonderful Christmas and New Year of 2022.

Very big and clean library. Staffs are always very friendly and helpful. There are so many study spaces upstairs good for studying and working. Also good for group studies.

It has a good environment, warm-hearted staff, abundant books and excellent facilities. It's a great place for families to relax and read on weekends. I highly recommend it.
