From my first contact with Josie I knew she was an amazing special person. I can’t imagine having anyone else design and make my dress. Words can not explain how Josie made me feel. I do know that every time we spoke, messaged or I had a fitting I felt like I was the only bride Josie was designing and making a dress for.

I stumbled across Josephine 'Romeo Bastone' when I was looking for a couture wedding dress designer. I made an appointment with her and we instantly connected. I remember the first day I stepped into her store, although I loved all of the gowns there wasn't one exactly that stood out to me as 'the one' and I was wondering whether this would be the right fit for me. Like many brides to be, I was excited to visit a number of wedding dress designers to find my dream gown. Romeo Bastone Couture was the first on my list and upon meeting Josephine for the first time, it was clear to see how genuinely invested she was in her profession. I tried a few other designers after visiting Romeo Bastone, but I always knew I would return to Josephine. The immaculate quality of the materials she uses, her attention to detail and dedication without a doubt sets her apart. She was able to create my absolute dream gown, completely exceeding my (and everyone else's) expectations. The intricate details of the beading and French lace was breathtaking and everyone was in awe of my beautiful dress. She was even able to effortlessly create a detachable upper neckline and collar so I could enjoy the elegant high neck design as well as the more relaxed strapless look later in the evening. Nothing was too difficult for Josephine. She even met me at the Church on the day of my wedding to ensure my dress was in perfect condition before I walked down the isle. Her talent, kindness and dedication is beyond words. I could not recommend her enough!

The process of making my dream dress was such an incredible experience and one that I will never forget. Josephine made me feel so comfortable each time I had a fitting.
From the first fitting, Josephine and I had the same vision for my wedding dress, and it gave me so much comfort knowing I was in such wonderful, capable hands.

Josephine from Romeo Bastone Couture created the perfect wedding gown for our special day. The brief was classic elegance meets mid-century glamour. Josephine crafted an incredible long sleeve form fitting gown with sheer sleeves covered with silk 3D floral lace, fastened with pearl buttons at the back. This was complimented with a full tulle over skirt featuring a stand out cathedral train adding to the opulence of this gown. The design and fitting process was fantastic all the way through from the initial consult through to the final collection of the gown. Josephine is a true artisan of the Bridal couture industry and I would highly recommend her for creating your perfect gown.
