Opera Bar

With Opera House on one side and the Harbour Bridge on the other, this place is so vibrant, full of life. The view is amazing with live music.
The food is great. The pizza and calamari were so delicious. Ordering process is by phone scanning the QR code which I love.
The service is okay comparing to how busy they are.
One of the best evening I have spent in my Australia trip.

Great food, no issues. Long order wait time, very busy even on Monday during lunch. Not as good as some places in The Rocks but top notch as you’d expect. View and location can’t be beaten.

Amazing cocktails! And of course a good ambiance and view. Shady and sunny spots alike if you go at the right time. Perfect for enjoying the harbor peacefully and with creative and delicious cocktails.

Beware going on show nights and afternoon/nights of weekends as it can turn into a raging club like vibe and leave you no options for good seating. But would absolutely recommend for off peak hours. Great cocktail and beer selection, with snacks to pair.

You can’t really spend any time in this area of the city without visiting here for a drink. It’s always busy but for good reason - a fantastic atmosphere with incredible views of the most famous landmarks in the city. There’s an indoor section and extensive outdoor area, but reservations aren’t possible so you may find yourself perched on the wall against the harbour, but you won’t get any less atmosphere. Cocktails can only be ordered from the bar inside, but despite the queues the outdoor bar is relatively fast with the service. The mist spray outside is a welcome touch for those hot afternoons!

Live music is present on certain evenings, which can get a little overbearingly loud depending on where you’re sitting / standing, but it’s a great touch to add to the unique location. A great place and worth the slight price premium for such a prime spot.

The atmosphere is a brilliant, lovely sea view. Enjoy a drink, food with friends and family. Never going to regret one. Can see the whole CBD going live in the evening. Trains can be an issue if looking for one. Taxis are always preferred due to convenience.

Sydney Harbor is always pleasant. It's nice just to look at it . You can relax with a glass of wine at the Opera Bar. It was very difficult to find a seat on the weekend and you had to wait an hour to order food.

But it's nice just to be here. A place where everyone is enjoying themselves with loving eyes

Incredible atmosphere, day and night! Plenty of staff on hand to help with parking and dining or even just a coffee while you soak up the stunning view of Sydney Harbour. Arguably one of the best in the world! Overall, a very very nice and enjoyable experience and a place one would find hard to forget.

Amazing weather made the evening visit excellent. Once we found seating, we easily ordered via the QR code. Good selection of GF and vegan options. Excellent views of the opera house and harbour bridge.

The location can’t get better than this. With views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge on one side and the Sydney Opera House on the other - what else can one ask for.

I have been here several times. No matter if it is morning or evening, weekday or a weekend - the place is always buzzing!

The service is quite good and the choice of food and drinks is decent. They even allowed me to bring in my cup of tea from the adjacent House Canteen.

One can always have a good time at the Opera Bar.

The only place to feel the REAL Sydney, from here you can see the city skyline, the bridge and the iconic Opera House.
First time coming here and it was at night, and it was the best view for me for spend the rest of the night enjoying my drinks and chatting. Had a great time gather with my friends here.

We visited this iconic bar during a night out in Sydney this weekend. The location is picturesque being right on Sydney harbour in Sydney's famous Circular Quay. Take a seat and marvel at the sails of the Opera House in one direction and the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the other 🌉. Take advantage of the QR code ordering to avoid the queue and have your drinks delivered straight to you. There is also a food menu that we didn't try but looked great from what we saw around us. Yes, the drinks are on the expensive side, but you are paying for a unique experience in one of the world's most beautiful urban attractions 🥂

Beautiful location! I am an American visiting Sydney and this was the most beautiful bar and location ever. It’s very busy so you either have to get there early or be prepared to make several laps to be able to get a table with the best view. We had perfect weather and perfect views. The food was pretty good as well. You order via the app and it is brought to you fairly quickly.

Beautiful view especially on the walkway area with built in seating. At night the bridge lit up as well as the Opera House. You can order drinks at the Opera bar or scan a bar code and they deliver food and drinks to you. Times may vary but last night at 9 p.m. there was a five minute fireworks on the other side of the Opera House. Also at 9p there was a 6 minute projection (2 or 3xs an evening) that you could see from the upper steps area.

My favourite place to chill and relax in Sydney. Great live music, delicious cocktails, wonderful atmosphere and beautiful views. I'll be back as soon as I can.

Good food paired with great ambience!! (We actually spent our New years there but a little late to put down the review) the washrooms could have been better though!

Best place to be on a Sunny, summer day in Sydney.
Harbour Bridge, opera house, awesome cocktails, and nice grub.
Service was fast considering how busy it was.

Located between the Sydney Opera House and the Quarter Quay station along the open air lower walkway pass. We only stopped for a couple of drinks, but got to enjoy the crowd gathering outside for one of the many Melbourne Cup celebrations. The bar is long and curved with an open view of the port including the bridge and and docked cruise ships.

There's plenty of both inside and outside seating arrangements. The staff were friendly and attentive even as the customer crowd grew.
