Egan Reserve Dog Off Leash Area

Own a dog walking business and this is one my favourite places to bring the dogs.

Well off the main roads. Plenty of bins. Nice trail to walk. Creek for dogs to swim in. Cycle path is on other side of the river. Locals really friendly and great to talk to.

Great off leash dog park with a creek & plenty of swimming spots for dogs. Can be a bit slippery/muddy not in summer.

Kids go bush kinder here, great friendly park with open space and views

Beautiful place to bring the dogs for a run and a swim, everyone and their dogs are super friendly.

Great expansive outdoor area along the Merry Creek. Not fenced in so may not be suitable for some dogs.

Really beautiful area - lovely creek to walk dogs alongside, but be prepared to wash your pupper when you get home!

Nice community of people to engage with too - everyone was very friendly and understanding when it came to dog interactions.

The scenery was really clean and tidy, with big areas for off lead adventures without talk grass or muddy ditches.

Highly recommend for nature lovers and dog lovers alike!

Great place to bring the dogs. They have a great time swimming in the creek too!

A beautiful local secret. Often when I run along this peaceful section of Merri Creek, I see people walking dogs, picnicking, reading, and generally enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. There are trails that wander through the trees and plenty of peaceful little spots to quietly admire the creek.

Lovely off-lead large space for my dog to have a run and dip in the creek when she gets too hot :-)

So many friendly dogs & owners!! Such a great spot to take your little friend, but it's not fenced so make sure you keep an eye on them so they don't go accidentally swimming.

Good amount of open space for ball games with dog, access to creek for dog to go swimming, grass cut and well kept, mininum risk of snake encounter, some trees for shade.

Lovely time of day down there today, especially at the wetland. A cormorant, a family of ducks and some wattle birds. Warm and sunny.
