Tooborac Hotel and Brewery

We went for lunch and it was lovely. The ambiance is fabulous. Beautiful old pub with awesome decor . Lovely staff nothing is too much trouble. Food was yummy.
I bought a beaut tee shirt that fits too.
They have great boutique beers and the pies are very popular too.

We had a lovely catch-up with friends for dinner last week - the service was excellent and our meals were delicious - we look forward to visiting again very soon! Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality!

Stopped off after a long day of off-roading. The beer was amazing, I recommend the Australian Pale Ale. My girlfriend and I also had dinner, I was lucky enough to get the roast pork dinner, with apple sauce and crackling. It was so good. What really made our night was the hospitality of Chris, the owner, he was so friendly and made us feel like locals. Don’t hesitate if you’re driving past !

We stopped at the bakery for a quick lunch on the way to Echuca, and what a pleasant surprise it was. A beautiful welcoming smile from the young lady who served us. And the pies were absolutely delicious 😋 It was too early to go into the hotel, but we'll definitely be back as the chef who made the pies cooks in the hotel 😀 It was such a pleasant experience and wonderful to receive such great customer service....thanks

On route back to east gippsland.
Stop off at local rec reserve and wow...a hotel/ Brewery 10 min walk.
Amazing steak, parmas and beers.
Trying to work out how we can come again from Bairnsdale.

Fantastic venue. Great beer and pies, very good atmosphere both inside and outside. I will definitely make it my regular.

Great pub to stop in for a feed. Good choice of parmas and the brisket burger is spot on. I'm not a craft beer sort of bloke but the chocolate sanchez went well with the hot and spicy parma. Very friendly staff and quite happy to give small samples to set you up with a beer you'll like.

Excellent post bike ride pub lunch! Friendly efficient staff (despite being really busy). Enjoyed a long lunch in the beer garden. Highly recommend.

We stopped in for dinner on our way home from the Heathcote Drag racing; and had a really unexpectedly delish dinner!
The pub was full when we arrived without a booking but the staff were so quick & friendly to find us a table within a few minutes! I ordered the snitz & hubby the steak & both were absolutely BEAUTIFUL 😍 very big servings & old school pub style taste! We both really enjoyed our meals & the staff were all really friendly too! We will definitely make a point to stop in for a drink and/meal next time we are in the area

My wife and I had a great moment at Tooborac hotel. A truly authentic small pub where Chris and the staff are welcoming you like old friends.
The beef and beer pie was definitely the best one I ever had. Like cream on the tongue. The spanish chicken was a beautiful mix of flavours. And the beers are unique.

, bacon and leak pie - best ever and boy I’ve had some pies. Chips were tasty as and salted just right, had several beers loved the gunslinger pale ale !

Such an amazing country pub in every aspect! The food is always delicious, service is always great too - all the staff are lovely. The best part is that they do things their own way, even down to the chips & salad with each meal - it’s not the same as every other pub you go to!
The Wedgie Parma from the specials menu this week was my favourite meal I’ve had there! Please do it again in the future or add it to the normal menu!!! 😍

The beer was very good. The bar tender was very nice and welcoming. The meat pie - lamb and Shiraz pie was wonderful but would have been better if they had more panty. Overall, a wonderful meal and will definitely come back

Great craft beers and fantastic pies. Not cheap but well worth the money. Definitely a must stop on the road to or from Heathcote. Don't get there too late after lunch or you might miss out!

I was very impressed with the numerous gluten free options. I decided to go for a pizza and it was one of the best gf pizzas I have had in a while! They had lots of gluten friendly dessert options on the board too (I was too full to try one sadly!).

My only thought is that the menu doesn't show what meals can be made gluten free. You've already done such an incredible job making delicious gluten free options available, surely do yourself justice by updating the menu with this information to encourage more gluten free guests to visit! Thank you for the lovely meal, friendly staff and comfortable venue! 😊

Loved the vintage flavor of this place. Delicious ones, brews, and dinner. Highly recommend any of the meat pies. We had chicken, bacon, and leek. friendly, local spot with great service.

Awesome country pub. Good house beer selection and knowledgeable staff. Food was spot on, Brisket Burger was disintegrating in our month, Japanese Chicken Burger was perfectly cooked and my favourite the Spicy Parma, juicy and full of flavour despite the hot ingredients as it should be. Great job

Love the amazing range of beers they have.... tasting paddle is a good solution. And the pies from the bakery next door are amazing!
