We stopped for a late lunch during a day trip, and ...
+ the food was outstanding
+ the calamari was perfect. It was better than delicious - the texture was just right - chef got it absolutely perfect
+ they did a great job of matching a wine to the calamari

A quiet country pub, staff were friendly and the scotch fillet and prawns special was SO yum..!

Fantastic service, delicious food and good value dinner spot. Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Food were great portions and delicious, good selection of local wines and tap beers. Will be back next time we're in Heathcote!

Great pub, very friendly, absolutely delicious meals and fantastic entertainment.

We enjoyed a lovely meal and friendly service. Good prices for the meals. The chicken schnitzel was so tender, the best I've had in a hotel/pub. We will return for sure.

This pub has a good atmosphere and a great meal. Went with a party of 14, everyone's meal was great, service excellent, prices very good. Recommended.

Eggplant parma was absolutely fantastic. All food and drinks were great. Classic beers on tap plus the local brewery which is absolutely worth a try if you like craft beers. Staff very friendly. Very local vibe and sport on the TV.

Efficient and friendly service saw our large group of hungry cyclists fed in no time. Decent, fresh meals with plenty of salad or veg on the side. Add cold beer. Happiness is a country pub like this. Book ahead, its not huge.

This place is great. New owners and a new menu that does not disappoint. Great service too. I recommend the salt and pepper calamari or fish and chips. My friend had chicken parma which was generous and looked delicious. The food is great. Well done to the new owners for making this the best place in Heathcote to eat right now.

Impeccable sevice, very caring and understanding of our needs. Plenty of gluten free options and lovely atmosphere. Meals were good sized, well priced and absolutly delicious. Great range of country classic meals to satisfy everone. Very clean and inviting.

Amazing service, Terry was the kindest server and so attentive even though he was the only one working at the front of house. If they had a tip jar I would’ve given him all my cash! Food was great, salt and pepper calamari was delicious and so was the wine. Thank you Terry for your service, I hope you get the recognition you deserve!

So glad we made the drive to have lunch. Read the reviews and thought why not. Was not dissapointed. Great service, chicken parmi and the crumbed lamb cutlets were fantastic.

Great pub grub...so friendly. We were made to feel very welcome!! Eagles Concert on the TV was a treat. Racing channel on the other TV. Terry is behind the jump.... one of the new owners. Get in there and introduce yourself! You won’t be disappointed!

We dropped in to the hotel for lunch. Food was very tasty, and portions generous. Staff were friendly and service prompt.
