Gallipoli Park

Gallipoli Park is especially good for kids, especially if needing to blow off steam before or after a long drive. But it's an essential stop for anyone visiting Marysville, and beautifully commemorates the Black Saturday bushfires.

We had a short walk through the park and were seriously impressed by the size of the park and the different options in how the park could be utilised. This park is definitely built for families and kids in mind.
With bbq areas, grassy knolls to lay a picnic rug out with heaps of shade, pathways to take a stroll on, and swings and play equipment. I am sure I didn't even see everything. But I would recommend bringing the kids here for a driving break or a planned lunch or dinner. Even a birthday party would go down well here. There are toilets next to the carpark, which is a couple of steps away from the park itself. It's not far to any one of the multiple cafes or hotel to go and have a meal if you want. Hope you enjoy it.

First visit. Quick visit for relaxing after lake mountain journey. It was a big park with alot of green area. Equiped with BBQ facility, playground, trails and pond and creek. It was near the toilet. The park had all the nature sound we need for relaxation. Definitely recommended.

This place is really lovely and very spacious with various walking tracks, lake, swimming pool, a great playground for all aged children, picnic and BBQ facilities plus a small used books shop.

Go there and shops around so close.

Nice simple park with amenities and facilities for the family. It is a nice, pleasant short stroll around the little pond but what took our breath away was the little memorial at the corner of the park, dedicated to the Black Saturday event, and those that lost their lives during the event. It is so tragic to read about what happened that fateful day in Feb 2009, so this little memorial is an awesome way to remember what happened in the past.

Beautiful park, so much for the kids to do. So popular and such a great atmosphere.

Great park to go for a walk and explore the surroundings or just sit back and relax. There is a playground for the kids and plenty of sculptures to find and check out.

Best park i have visited till date. They have everything you would wish to have in a park. Highly recommend to visit this place if you have planned a trip to Steavenson falls or lake mountain. Best part - they have a small pond with running water, also includes playing area and sculptures. Good seating arrangements with bbq spots available. Enjoy xxx

Truly one of the best and most beautiful parks in Victoria. Probably the best one I've been to, now that I think of it. So many areas to picnic on the ground or on tables. Plenty of room for activities. Beautiful creeks flowing through. A nice lake. Walking tracks. Great park with flying fox for kids. We saw a family of ducks here as well. You could easily spend a whole day here with your family and it's perfect for a day trip. Very quiet in the morning, if you want to have a coffee by the creek. 10/10 HIGHLY recommended.

Very pretty park to walk around, and at 58, I even had a go on the flying fox. Great park for young families

Nice pit stop or you could even spend a whole day here. Plenty of entertainment for the kids. Excellent facilities = public toilets , rubbish bins, large kids playground

Amazing park! Kids playground is new, fun, interesting and allows for water play. Little train further down too. BBQ facilities and tables are clean and under cover. Lovely walk around the area. Definitely recommend

This is park is a definite if in the area. The running stream is spectacular and gives an opportunity for the children to splash about. The playground is also very nice and well maintained. Across the road there is a good old fashioned lolly store. We had a great time with the kids and really added to our experince of Stevenson Falls
