Marysville Country Bakery

We had lunch here in Jan 2023, and we found the bakery had plenty of food options that are available. From the typical pies and sausage rolls to the fresh and tasty meals. We enjoyed the fish, chips, and salad; the fish was fresh and crunchy, and the salad was fresh and chips crunchy. The meal was delightful, and for 2 of us, it cost around $43. My only suggestion would have been nice to see prices for the meals, as it was busy and I was not comfortable asking.

Staff were pleasant and polite. They were pretty busy when we were there as it was Australia day. We didn't wait to long for food.
There was plenty of seating inside and out, and designated smoking and non-smoking areas.
The shop is on a corner on a uphill, but there are pathways to the store, so wheelchair or wheeler access is there.

Ordered the fruit flan and vanilla slice. Love the fruit flan as it was not too sweet, my son liked the vanilla slice too

Was busy, but served pretty quickly on Saturday during school holidays. Plenty of place to sit inside or outside. Pies and burger were delicious. Right in the centre of town, and on roadside.

Great bakery. Lots of delicious things to eat. We tried a number of pies and a couple of slices. Took home a loaf of bread. All first class. Only set back is the distance from where we live in Melbourne. Otherwise we would visit everyday. Good seating outside was especially appreciated.

5 stars just for service alone!! Stopped by on a very busy public holiday. Place was absolutely packed. However the staff handled it very well. Very friendly, and kept us updated and communicated clearly. Food was what you would expect from a country bakery. The mushroom pie was a standout. Heaps of filling and good flavour. Would happily stop by if in the area again.

Great place to start or to finish your ride.

Grab some frozen pies for the freezer to have during winter. Always reliable and great pies. The vanilla slice is worth getting too. Was very busy during the peak time. Parking around the side if the main road is too busy.

Great range, it'd be very busy during peak season. Lots of space, good prices, seating inside and outside

Had a pie here, lots of colourful birds. Don't leave your food if sitting outside. Great bread to buy. Worth a stop and support the local Stores.

I used to come here as a kid before the fires, and I am so happy it is still here and thriving - it even looks the same.

I always stop here after a hike in the surrounding areas. Their food is great, and the nostalgia makes it even better. 💚

This has been my go-to bakery in Marysville since 2004, and I keep returning as I receive the coffee and dessert I always hope for; plus I look forward to chatting with the wonderful business owner each time I'm there.
