Kings Cross Library

Generally love it here, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices for printing, pleasant selection of books. The only thing is the kids section has moved and seemed to have shrunk, which is a pity. Still overall 5 stars for being just great!

best library! I love the bed pods so comfy. Pleasantly surprised by how clean, modern, and organized it is. Not crowded either.

I am walking around and waiting for my family picking me up. And found there's no toilet anywhere, so strange!And at last I came here, spend my joyful peaceful 1hour with power and toilet. All corner are comfortable, everyone is quiet and focused,I love here!

Helpful staff, and great if you need to print something quickly. Had a printer emergency at home and I was able to print what I needed and leave within 5 minutes! Thank you!

The internet isn’t the fastest but it works and everyone is super helpful.

One of the few public libraries that stays truly quiet. The staff ensures noise on the second floor is kept to a minimum. I love studying here. The space is renovated, airy, and bright, and the furniture is modern.

Kings Cross library seems happy to roll out the red carpet for junkies to shoot up and sleep upstairs near the PCs, but insist on sushing my kids when they are in the kids section. The Double Bay library is vastly superior and worth the small trip.

Kings Cross library is fantastic..not just books and current newspapers..go upstairs to L2 ..a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere with plenty of computer terminals, private spaces and bookable meeting rooms..printing also available. Don't forget to bring your headphones 😉 and a USB drive..

Great location, expert staff, nice layout and friendly security. Two tips to make your visit more enjoyable - 1. Take the stairs instead of waiting for the ancient lift, and 2. Don't worry about the scruffy GF exterior (it's an oasis of calm upstairs in the library).

A nice small library situated in the heart of the Kings Cross district. Plenty of tables, chairs and desktop computers to use. Free Wi-Fi and the desktops provide free internet to members. Free membership given you have a proof of address. Staff were nice and helpful.
