Super friendly staff. Food was perfect. Coffee was superb. Love the artwork.

We had a lovely lunch here! We had a vegetarian toastie and a beer battered fish toastie. The cheese in the vegetarian toastie was really melty ☺ It was really nice to have a warm and hearty meal on a cold day 😊 The interior was also filled with One Piece posters, a Totoro poster and Demon Slayer figurines!

Got a breakfast wrap for $14 before surcharge and a carrot cake.
Breakfast wrap is good, fresh and the bread is toasted nice.
Carrot cake is moist and flavorful. The place get busy during breakfast, so be patient for your breakfast order.

Fantastic cafe right in the heart of Augusta. We were searching high and low for a place to eat on a Tuesday afternoon (with many of the nearby food outlets closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) and were recommended to try the Thousand Suns cafe. We first had lunch there on the Tuesday, but since we enjoyed the decor and the food, we returned the following day to have breakfast as well (you know, as part of supporting the local economy and local businesses), especially after reading about the very positive reviews from other restaurant patrons.
We really enjoyed the eggs and salmon benedict which was very well presented and was cooked to perfection (the salmon was shaped as roses! look at the pics)
Decor was really cool as well as other reviewers have pointed out - very hip with anime and pop culture, which is totally unexpected for Augusta.
To note, the owners of the Thousand Suns Cafe are a husband (French) and wife (Japanese) team, which reflects the Western and Asian food selection on the menu.
The Thousands Suns Cafe is pretty popular and well supported amongst the locals as well, with many local denizens popping in and out during the day, and many locals telling us that the Thousand Suns Cafe serves the best coffee in Augusta (which we can agree after having tried their coffee).
Can recommend the place and will definitely pop back for another meal and coffee the next time I visit!

Loved this cafe! So cute and loved the pop culture references. Customer service was lovely and the food was so yummy! We ordered two karaage chicken burgers, a bang bang mix smoothie and a hot chocolate and they where all perfect. Thank you so much for a lovely lunch! :)

Coffee is super tasty and consistent. Nice food options that are always tasty, love the ham and cheese croissants.

Great good and great service. We went there quite late and ordered the karage chicken and beef burger. The taste of the burgers were very good. I will definitely visit again if I pass by

Breakfast was absolutely fantastic after a long ride in the cold. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Wasn't expecting to find so many fans of Totoro out here, which really brightened my day. A bit pricey but I did like how my breakfast (particularly the hash browns) didn't feel oily/greasy.

Super cute interior, decorated with variations of lights and anime posters. The staff were friendly, and the matcha latte was amazing! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a bite to eat, or a nice spot for a catch-up.

I had the BLCT (I think I got it right) breakie wrap and a coffee. I’m sure my waist will disagree however, the hollandaise sauce on the wrap was spot on. Fantastic effort.

Wonderful little cafe. The eggs Benedict with bacon was fantastic. The hollandaise sauce was perfect and the eggs wonderfully poached.
A nice Japanese aesthetic with mismatched chairs adds to the atmosphere.
Definitely recommend for a breakfast particularly on a weekday when some other cafes in the area are closed.

Excellent food! The Karage burger is a favourite. Kids meals are a great size also.
Filled with cool Japanese style anime artwork. Well worth a visit!
