Fat Boy Street Eatery

Fantastically tasty, good value, local Thai eatery. Don't expect fine dining, but do expect authentic flavours and friendly staff. The Drunken Noodles and Crispy Pork Belly are family favourites. A recent surprise dish that I will definitely order again is their Tom Yum Fried Rice. Emphasis on the YUM!

We went there in a lazy Saturday late afternoon and there was no one there. This turned out to be good for us as we got full attention. The gigantic Menu cards were brought out and looked like we needed another table just to open the menu card. Soon we discovered the reason behind the size of the menu-card as they had proper snapshots of each and every dish on the menu card which instantly made us hungry.
We started with some ice tea and make no mistake, they make them fresh there- NOT the bottled one. I would recommend iced Thai milk tea which was just too good.
The meals followed soon with great taste and finesse. Te quantities were just right- Not too much or not too less either. The quality of meat and seafood were fresh and with full of flavour. We had a Green Papaya salad with grilled chicken (a must try), Son-in-law eggs, drunken noodles with seafood (another masterpiece) and tom yum fried rice with chicken. The staff were very friendly and service was very prompt. I would highly recommend this place and love to go back there again.

Simple, well priced and flavourful Thai food on Chapel street. The drunken noodles were perfect, the spice level was spot on and the chicken was tender and seasoned. I also ordered the chicken ribs and tofu starters and they both were very generous in portions and great tasting.

Nothing to critique here, all in all, delicious and cheap Thai food!

Wonderful dinner at Fat Boy Street Eatery tonight. We had a great table out the front and could enjoy the beautiful weather. Food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was packed full of flavour and tasted super fresh. I will definitely be returning to try more of the menu.

You want a proper Thai street food at a an amazing price. This is the place you have to go. Their veg spring rolls are homemade, like literally everything in the place is made from the scratch and taste difference is seen in the food when compared to other Thai places.🤩👍🏻

Great Thai food at a reasonable price, including wine and cold beer. Good atmosphere but would be better on a nice day when they expand out onto the sidestreet. Complete with tuk tuk so you can't go wrong.

Amazing food. You can feel is cooked by professionals, the waitress are really friendly. In addition is cheap. 100% recommend, bravo.

Food was good, and served quickly. Service was efficient, if not chatty/ friendly. Looks like they do a serious amount of take away meals. Good spice level on the chicken basil stir fry ( if you like it spicy). Too many carrots in the peanut beef curry, but it was very tasty, especially the sauce!!
