Two nights in a 'budget' room and I was very satisfied with the quality of the room. Great shower with plenty of pressure. Room was compact but clean and neat. Will definitely stay here again. Great value for money.

I booked a room for my parents over Easter 2023. The reception staff were fantastic and incredibly helpful. My parents are very fussy when it comes to accommodation but they raved about the room. It was a queen room that was recently renovated, it was very comfortable and clean (my mum is really fussy). Highly recommend the motel and calling the staff to book directly. It was really affordable even though it was a peak holiday time. I would definitely book with them again.

Very spacious room in a lovely, quiet setting with lawn and trees. Exceptionally well appointed and clean with updated bathroom and rain shower. The bedding was scrumptious and beautiful.

Highly recommend staying here, great hosts who ensure your stay is wonderful. The rooms are modern, clean and the beds are very comfortable. Great pool for the kids.
Lots to do around Yarram, we explored the Tarra Bulga national park, Woodside beach and The Prom. All close by and easy to drive too. The local bakery does the best meat pies and deserts. Recommend the Country club and Woodside hotel for dinner.

We would highly recommend this motel as you drive past you think it’s an old style motel but once you see the rooms they have been renovated it’s so clean and comfortable. Adrian the owner could not do enough for us as we had broken down and our car and Caravan had been towed away. We stayed a couple of nights here and Adrian really looked after us. Adrian went above and beyond, thank you so much Adrian. Highly recommend to stay here, 10 out of 10. Chris Paul and Sharon.

We chose Yarram as it is a quiet town, and easy distance to Melbourne on the A440. We had got a bit bored with constant motorway/major highway driving. Tarra Motel looked quite nice and was well situated. In fact the recently renovated rooms are absolutley stunning - very large, beautifully styled bedding and linen (even the teatowel was stylish!) . The bathroom tiling is magnificent and that room is cleverly designed to maximise space. The room had a very peaceful ambience. Tarra Yarram was easily the best motel we stayed in over a five week trip. Adrian and Candice were a delight to deal with, always happily helpful. We easily walked to the pub for dinner.

The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The host is a very pleasant man who was very helpful. Although we didn’t use the pool it looks clean also. I recommend this motel and would certainly stay there again.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Older style room, however extremely clean and comfortable with a really good shower all the things required. Close to the town for food etc. If I had any complaint the pillows are hard and heavy but I still slept well so they can't of been too bad. Would stay again.

When you look at this motel, as you drive by, it looks just like your typical older style of motel from yesteryears. Do not let that fool you. The rooms are spacious, have all the mods you could need and are immaculately clean. The shower, which usually lets the average motel down, has plenty of hot water, the split system is quiet and effective and the bed is very comfortable. The complex is located in a great spot, an easy stroll into town and surrounded by trees and shrubs. There are some things that stayed old fashioned and I am so glad they did. Like the friendliness and courtesy of all the staff and the good old fashioned cooked breakfast delivered to your room. I had eggs on toast, chops, bacon and tomatoes and it was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t fit lunch in. Another thing that has not kept up with the times is the nightly tariff. I honestly think that if they put their rates up by 40% or even 50% it would still be well worth it. I am happy I found this little ripper and will, without doubt, be back.

Lovely old motel. It was like taking a step back in time; lots of original features all in good order, but I like that. Very clean and tidy. Hot shower, comfy bed, and watch TV - just what you need after driving for 7 to 8 hours. Very reasonable price booking online. Owner was friendly and pleasant to deal with. I couldn't fault our one night stay here. Thank you!

Comfortable clean rooms.
Brilliant service.
My partner and I stayed on a night that poured with rain leaving a deep puddle between our front door to the car the next morning . The owners went to the effort of placing three high mats in the pool of water so that we could shift our stuff, and ourselves, into the car without getting our feet wet. That's way above any service we've received from any motel anywhere we have stayed.

It was a great motel to stay in. We did want a room for 4 adults which they didn't have (we booked only an hour or so before we got there) but they provided us with 2 rooms next door to each other. The rooms are a bit dated but still bright and clean they had a toaster, kettle and one room had a microwave. You could order yummy breakfast and they delivered it to your room through a little window in your wall, straight onto your bench. One of the rooms had a couch and a double bed and the other had a single bed a double bed and an armchair. They also had and extension lead with power board for 4 plugs on each bedside table, which I thought was a good idea for charging phone's and devices. I also likes that there was so many towel racks and hooks in the bathroom there was plenty of space to hang things up unlike some other places I've stayed in. They were only little things but I think they make a difference. There is a swimming pool that is gated and has chairs around it. The only downside was the bathroom door in my room kept sliding open. But I was staying on my own while the other three were next door, so it didn't really matter. The configuration of the bathroom was a little odd too. Somebody could easily walk in on you while you're using the toilet and you couldn't reach to shut the door. But only a minor problem.

Rooms are clean, lots of space, bedding comfortable.
Good bacon and eggs on toast for breakfast $11.50. Also excellent coffee.
I would highly recommend staying at this motel because I would stay there again in future visits to Yarram.

The owners are friendly and accomodating. Room had everything we needed to be comfortable. Close to shops, pubs and cafes.
My kids had a good time in the pool.

Stayed for two nights. This place is amazing. lots of birds around will make your morning blissful. You can also take your pets with you. From this place port Albert is very close. You can simply drive to enjoy sunset at Port Albert. We would love to stay here again...
