Best breakfast in town
Been living here for close two five months now lots of great restaurants around as you can tell by my previous reviews but this was the best breakfast
Staff were friendly
Spoke to the lady in charge she was awesome
Would fully recommend to anyone

Went back today, Sunday 3rd December, just as awesome as before, great coffee ☕, iced chocolate and our meals perfect.
Big breakfast, eggs Benedict and the most gorgeous omelette

Surprisingly good BLTs at this unassuming spot. And to make things even better, they also have vegan options including vegan bacon! Prices are also relatively reasonable compared to the other spots around.

Incredible service. Drinks and food came out so fast and it was all fantastic. Staff were very attentive and made sure we were enjoying everything. I’ll definitely recommend Cafe Johalia to everyone and will go back again!!

Update: I went back again, just as fantastic as the first time, seriously go here if you need a coffee, breakfast or a break, you’ll love it!! (I recommend the eggs benedict or pulled pork burger)

Lovely place. Lots of flavor on both dishes and definitely a really good vegan/vegetarian option in town. Coffees were just perfect.

Awesome place for breakfast very clean and tidy take your pick of seating inside or out. Had the big breakfast and wasn’t disappointed will definitely be going back.

The fella that served my partner and I had impeccable customer service, was bubbly, friendly and made our breakfast outing enjoyable. HIGHLY rate the eggs benny, I added extras of avocado and mushrooms and let me tell you, it was the best eggs benny I have ever had. The mango smoothie is a ripper too. My partner got 'the lot' burger and it really did have the lot! A man needs a good burger and he was super chuffed with how tasty this one was.
Don't ever change a thing guys!

Great food and coffee, generous portions so you won't be left hungry.

Finding a gluten free (GF) restaurant as a Coeliac can be one of the most impossible tasks, especially in small local towns with limited cafes. However, today I had the most delicious GF Egg Benedict I have ever had at Cafe Johalia!! The staff were very reassuring despite my cautious approach when ordering and even replaced my entire meal when they suspected they had accidentally contaminated it. Cafe Johalia had a fantastic atmosphere, polite and bubbly staff and most importantly, incredible, reasonably priced food. I could not recommend this Cafe more so make sure to stop by on your next trip up north, whether you are a gluten lover or gluten free like me.

Stopped in and were greeted by friendly staff/owner. Food was delicious- we had the omelette and eggs Benedict. Lovely meal and staff.

Very friendly and efficient service, even when really busy on a Sunday morning. The coffee was great and the eggs Benny delicious. Pleasant atmosphere in keeping with the village laid back beach vibe. Highly recommend we went there each day we were in Mission beach.

Can't beat my drum more about this place we stumbled upon...absolutely the best place to stop for breakfast and the coffee Yummmmm and the beautiful staff big smiles must be because they no this place is a winner

The Owner offer great service and my word best steak sandwich Ive ever had!!from the Gold Coast we say by far the best value for your $$ thanks again to the chef and the staff!!

Eating here this morning, they were kind enough to join 2 tables for our family. Food was amazing, the Big Breakfast was value for money and everyone enjoyed their coffee. Absolutely recommend 😊

Started with Coffee which was good. Breakfast was smashed avo with poached eggs and feta... delicious. Eggs were cooked perfectly for me - firm on the outside and runny enough inside. Had a fresh juice with breakfast - also good. The Staff were friendly, happy and willing to have a chat even though they were busy. Nice place.

The staff were extremely friendly with excellent service. The food is a great price and tastes amazing! They catered for my friend’s dietary requirements and there were plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. Would highly recommend!

5 star location and atmosphere. Food was delectable and the staff were fresh beacons of light. One simply couldn’t not find better service for a better price in Australia. Quite possibly the best cafe I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining in.

Very friendly service. We had the big breakfast and the smashed avo with eggs and coffee. Everything was fresh, portions were large so bring your appetite. 5 stars, would thoroughly recommend.
