Stables Provedore Cafe

It's been a couple of years since I've been to Stables because last time we went, only 5 out of 7 of us enjoyed our meal. We were since told that there was new ownership and booked our Mother's Day brunch there.
The atmosphere was relaxing, not too noisy and all 5 of us enjoyed our meal. I now know they have a doggy menu so our walks will now take us there with a little treat for the dogs.
Stables Cafe will now be back on our family brunch rotation

A hidden gem brought to my attention by a friend, which would have been easily missed without her guidance.

Nestled within a heritage building, it seamlessly blends the charm of vintage aesthetics. Witnessing the transformation from a stable in 1886 to the surrounding golf course and now this charming cafe adds to its historical allure.

The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is both vibrant and pleasing. Be warned, though – it can get quite crowded on weekends, highly recommend making a reservation in advance.

This cafe has since become my go-to spot for brunch, and below are some standout items.

Drinks:
1. Osmanthus Blend Coffee: This latte boasts a delicate osmanthus fragrance that beautifully complements the rich coffee flavor.
2. Lychee Iced Tea: use Earl Grey tea as the base, this drink is elevated with osmanthus honey, lychee juice, and a creamy foam. The nuanced layers of tea aroma and lychee sweetness make it a refreshing choice.

Food:
1. Pad Thai: my favorite dish. The Pad Thai here is a delightful blend of unique Thai spices and flavors. It's light and refreshing, avoiding the typical oiliness associated with traditional Pad Thai. The chef's homemade sauce adds a perfect finishing touch.
2. Feed Bowl: Sushi rice paired with a poached egg, edamame, wakame, avocado, and wasabi citrus dressing, topped with fried shallots and nori. We opted for salmon, I was pleased with taste. The freshness of the ingredients reflects the careful selection.
3. Tacos (with Battered flathead):Crispy battered flathead accompanied by rich avocado and tangy pickled red cabbage. The batter on the flathead is nice and crispy, and I believe it would be even more enjoyable if the tacos had a crunchy shell rather than a soft one.

P.S. My friend mentioned that the lavender outside is stunning during its bloom season. Looking forward to experiencing it in the next lavender season❤

We got there for Sunday brunch. They have git delicious coffee. With a professional barista. Nice place with a beautiful design and nice staff reasonable price and tasty food.

It was great to have brunch in this beautiful and quiet coffee store: nice coffee, fresh and delicious food, friendly staff. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Coffee is very beautiful, recommend must eat cold noodles and risotto, as well as milkshake and special drinks are very good to drink. The environment is beautiful and the service attitude is nice and comfortable.

As a group of more than 20 came in on a Sunday morning. Great location with lots of parkings around. The cafe stands out at the area with great views. Coffees and food came out quickly and well-presented. Everyone finished everything on the plate. How good it is!

Nothing better than sipping a cup of coffee, sitting in this special 100 years old heritage stable,chatting with friends and enjoying my health lunch.
Really appreciate such beautiful afternoon and highly recommend everyone come here, guaranteed you'll like the local Cafe as me!

Attended my friend’s daughter’s 18 birthday party here. Decent food, beautiful environment and the staffs are friendly. We will definitely come back for brunch.

I had the feed bowl (sushi bowl) and it was delicious! Super fast and lovely service and fair prices. My friend and I sat and chatted for a bout an hour and the staff didn’t try to rush us out.

Would definitely recommend checking this place out! I’ll be back for sure :)

I’m not usually very generess with 5star ratings, but I genuinely enjoy my breakfast.
The staff were super friendly and helpful.
I'm not local and I came to try their sweet potato salad but I found out it is on their lunch menu.
The person was serving me asked chef if it can be an exception and the chef was kind enough to allow it.
This salad is celebration of tasty and healthy food.
Also, I order the farmer stable and it was fantastic. Specially the beetroot relish was a nice touch.
At the end I must say their coffee is good too.
I enjoyed my time here and defiantly will be back to try other foods in their pet-friendly cafe.

The food is wonderful!!! Nothing to say, you have to try. Everything on the menu is amazing!!! And cafe is dog cat friendly!

We host our daughter’s 1year old birthday party here and it was the best, the venue,and friendly staff who offered help to us decorating. We really enjoyed the experience.

Very nice atmosphere and food. Has outdoor seats and easy parking. Staff are friendly and efficient. A very good place for coffee and food, relaxing…

The cafe is located in a community - very pleasant and ample seating indoors and outdoors. I went there early on a Sunday morning, so it was relatively quiet.
The service was friendly, coffee smooth and food - yummy!
I ordered an ice latte and the salad which were both refreshing and bursting with flavour. It’s a little far from home, but I would love to return for the food and service; and a quick stroll around the community :)

Overall it’s a super vibe and great service. All the food and coffee was really great. The only thing we would say is that nourish bowl needs a rework as it was a bit lacking for flavour. Kids Pancakes were excellent, fish and chips kids loved and the smashed avo was superb.

Hospitality has been a hit hard and these guys are doing a great job to bounce back.

We loved that we could bring our dog along and he could sit with us outside. It’s a great find given it’s a little hidden gem. For those interested I’ve posted the menu in my photos.

One of my new favourites to go to, hidden away in a residential area but I'm so glad I found it! Plenty of seats, service is great and I love that there aren't any other shops around so it's quiet. Food is also great with timely service. Highly recommended!

Recently moved to the area and The Stables is definitely my new favourite local cafe! All the food we’ve tried has been delicious. The prices are really reasonable and it’s great being able to pick up fresh produce at the Providore too. Highly recommend for either a takeaway panini or dine in meal and a hot chocolate 😊
