I bought my car off Terry about a month ago - Terry was very friendly and not pushy at all to buy the car - just gave all the facts to me. Everything was organised when I went to pick up the car making the whole process super easy. My car is running perfectly and I absolutely love it!!

Update, Unfortunately, you were not professional to me on the phone and i was very upset and crying, and yes you were vague, as hence why i ended up having to figure it out myself, it’s very unfortunate for others to see this who may purchase from your business. Also, i don’t wish to answer calls to discuss and be left distressed talked to again. Also, i don’t mind, I have witnesses who were very upset to see this had happened, so good luck with your “email” and Goodbye.

So basically, at the start of my journey, i was a really happy customer, and then after you sold my car to me (which was like the love of my life, my dream first car), i had some issues with it, so i called you and you basically told me ‘well we have a business to run so we can’t just work around you’ when i mentioned i work full time and wanted to organise to see you and what the “ETA would be”. i was very understanding and obviously very distressed and you were blunt and sassy back to me, so i felt really stressed after the call. and then a couple months later i rang about another issue i was having with my car, and you had no idea what to say or suggest and was very vague and didn’t help so, so i decided to just spend money on a few other private mechanics instead of using the warranty i paid for when i got my car (which was originally over my budget)

So; i further investigated myself and my car was in a stack before i brought it, and i was left with the problems, i know you legally don’t have to disclose that, but i felt uncared for once you got my money, and then i kept spending more money on it, very distressed and unsure.

By the way, i ended up taking care of it, fixing it, maintained it, serviced it heaps, and it’s in “perfect condition/under amazing care” and i dealt with it myself after lots of expenses and tears, and wasting warranty you guys were meant to service to me….. anyway moving forward, i bought a brand new 2023 SUV car that i’ve dreamt of for ages and saved up for, and sold my car that you gave me for more than you sold it to me, plus with more value and care then when i got it. So yeah…. guess i know how to run business better then you guys.

also, FYI, i’m not sure if you can realise this but when you are arguing back or being snappy to customers reviews, it REALLY doesn’t make you look good…. or professional… so i would try to listen to your customers a little more and communicate a little better if you want to regain good reputation.

Very dodgy, when negotiating sale on a ve s2 sv6 it was said it has just had brakes fixed, that turned out to be false, said that it had recently passed a roadworthy when I had my mechanic look at it he was shocked it passed road worthy as the shocks and everything werent up to standard on it, WOULDNT RECCOMMEND.

Unprofessional business, We were in talks with a finance company when we put a deposit on a car from this yard, but the finance took too long and the car yard just sold the car to another buyer without notification to us and didn't even call us to return our deposit. when we called to ask for our money back, they were very rude on the phone and were not clear when we would get our money back. They also told us they would take us to court if we left a negative review, then tried to sell us another car the same model, different colour ( why didn't the other buyer get this car?)
They also made us climb a broken retaining wall in an active building site to view the car. and on the test drive the salesperson took his seat belt off and climbed over the console into the rear of the car to stop a loose seat from moving

As I cannot see another way to reply to motor stores comment here it is:
It was the way you went about things that I feel was wrong, rather than selling the car (I was told over the phone) the day before we called you maybe you could have call us to obtain said details you do have my phone number right?
Also yes it was an activity building site and I was as far left as I could go before needing to walk in the dirt where there was a small excavator operating.
I never said anything and F@#$ing any one up but said if you continued to refuse to refund me I will come down there will the police to get my money that your saying you held on to after the 17th when you should have already givin it back!

No discount was offered or asked for on the purchase vehicle I was actually more than happy at the price.
You gave me $14,000 for my car the same as other yards have offered me. You were getting the good end of this deal but couldn't wait for notated lease aus to do there thing we only got an answer on the 23rd!

And any way you put it, the saleperson TOOK HIS SEAT BELT OFF instead of letting me pull over at a safe location on Scoresby Rd to open the door to fix the loose seat

Yes I'm a business owner my self and pride my business with communication as soon as its needed.
