Cafe Felix Sydney

Great little cafe tucked away behind the main (King) street of Newtown. We had a warm chicken salad with lentils and pesto and a chicken sandwich which were both tasty and fresh; the sweet potato fries were crispy and yummy; we also had a chocolate milkshake which was nice. We would definitely visit again!

I came here for Portuguese egg tarts (from Tugas in Clovelly), and also tried the zucchini fritters and was pretty pleased.
The atmosphere is pretty cool, relaxed and local. You could easily chill there for a bit, rare for Newtown :-)

Tring to find a good coffee early on a Sunday Morning around Sydney Uni is not an easy task, well not any more since I found Cafe Felix Sydney here in Newtown.

The coffee is great, staff friendly so what more do you want....

Looks bigger on the inside. Beautiful decor and hanging pots give the place a fresh atmosphere.

The breakfast was excellent and quick and the coffee was good too.

Would recommend for a quick breakfast or a catch up with friends.

Probably my favourite cafe in Newtown area! I love going here for just a coffee or breakfast or even just to study for a few hours. The café is well lit and ample natural light to come in, perfect for uni students to study. They offer special student discounts btw 😉

The staff is super friendly and accommodating to any requests that you may have.

Friendly staff. Good coffee. The Big Breakfast was tasty and massive. I would have preferred it on a plate instead of a board but interesting presentation seems to be the thing now. Will be going back.

Always an amazing breakfast here. When you've had a big night out and need a massive, high quality breakfast, come here. You won't be disappointed.

What a great little place! Only discovered this cafe today, and I'm so glad I did. The drinks were great, service was lovely, and the food was delicious and in big portions! We had the avo and beet smash, and the zucchini noodles. They were both great. We'll be back!

Had brunch at Harpy's Cafe with some mates and it was absolutely fantastic. I've been to a lot of cafes in the area, but none have matched the high quality of food, drinks and service at this establishment. The staff are professional and super friendly. The food was phenomenal and came very quickly. It's in a prime location and I will definitely be back.

Did take away as I had a specialist appointment. I returned to the cafe and the owner made me a brand new delicious dish. I was deeply touched and will return as the meal was delicious, avocado and beetroot mixtures on sourdough. Coffee is amazing.

Happened to be in Newtown for brunch and stumbled upon this cafe! Everything about the cafe was great, the food was delicious and so was their coffee. The atmosphere was nice and warm, and to top it off, the staff were all so helpful & friendly. Would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone and everyone! Will definitely be back.

Had a great time at Harpy's Corner this morning catching up two mates for a bite and a coffee. The great location and relaxed vibe make it an excellent place for a chat. The wait-staff are professional and friendly and the food was great. All round great experience. (I'd recommend you try their fresh orange and ginger juice!)

Feliz became our favourite cafe in the area.
The staff is very nice and we can bring our doggie, who’s also very welcomed here.

The food is good, the omelete and cinnamon scrolls are my favourite, while the eggs Benedict are my bf’s choice.

I couldn’t recommend enough!

This cafe is quaint and a lovely place to get away from the brash craziness of King street, Although close enough to still feel like you're part of the action.

I've always been able to get a table and the food and coffee is great too.

Great to find an old haunt.... renewed and refreshed... knew the cafe as Harpy's... the new place is Cafe Felix... familiar decor however very different food offering and really delicious Toby's Estate coffee... my absolute favourite coffee !!! Relaxed and friendly vibe with a well balanced menu - the 3 times I've eaten at Cafe Felix - each dish has been tasty, fresh and well presented... and a big shout out to the service team - so refreshing to find friendly, attitude free service :-)

Love love love Felix! Everything is so simple but so great. The food is so tasty and the wait staff are very friendly. Good coffee as well. Just has gotten a little pricey but hasn’t stopped me from coming!
