Boronia Bakehouse

Boronia Bakehouse is a tempting attraction when I visit Harris Farm in Boronia Park. Their sausage rolls are a must, and my particular favourites are the Pork and Fennel and Chorizo. It’s usually an either/or dilemma, but on a cold Sunday morning who needs to resort to choice. As you can see, I have absolutely no self control. Nothing another few kilometres won’t sort out. Well done Holly being so bright, so early on a Sunday morning.

What warm thoughtful and friendly service! And the vegan chilli pie, dark cherry danish and double shot midnight oil flat white was all absolutely delicious and satisfied me for hours. Absolutely recommend for lovers of pastry and coffee!

You cannot do better than this gem of a store. The cakes and food are all excellent. All of the staff are brilliant. Try them if you haven't.

My wife and I were in the area and wanted a coffee and a pastry. We were not disappointed here. Coffee’s were great and the service was quick. Very polite staff. Will be returning in the future.

Highly recommend! The cake I have ordered for my partner’s birthday was not only picture perfect, but also tasted delicious. It was a proper Black Forest cake - with sour cherries and real cream. On the outside - Italian buttercream and not the mock cream so many bakeries and patisseries use these days. The chocolate for chocolate balls was perfectly tempered which you can see on the photo - it is soooo glossy and crunchy!
I do not give compliments lightly and rarely write reviews but this cake was amazing!

Boronia Bakery makes the most delicious blue berry cheese cake which is refreshing not too sweet.

Hmm, so I looked at the review ratings before going, and with an average at 3.9, I wasn't expecting to be bowled over....but..wow! They have 3 different blends on offer. I opted for the Golden Moka, and the texture was smooth and balanced. Sharper blends were available...but maybe another time.
The Spinach rolls were light, yet filling. The Pork and Fennel was standout here; it was so delicious and balanced.
The croissant hit the spot being oh so flaky with a light buttering...didn't want to stop at one.
If you're in Gladesville or thereabouts, give this place a chance.
Service can be a little stern (depending on who serves you), but go in with a smile; the coffee and food should sustain it.

If only they could do something about smokers who decide to light up near patrons on the footpath

Top notch customer service. Great tasting pies, sausage rolls and quiches. Coffee's were made perfectly with different beans to choose from.

Strongest and nicest coffee in Hunters Hill, if you like strong ☕, go with the midnight oil blend. Staff are very friendly!

Had a quiche and coffee here the other day - best quiche of my life. I’ll be trying a pie today. Delicious coffee too. Very quick service.

I am shocked to find that the ratings for this bakery are not higher - I can see several people have commented on the service and given 1 star. I think this is ridiculous. Some people have no understanding or respect for small business. Even if you do not like the service, this does not mean you should only give 1 star. This bakery provides incredible food, award winning pies and delicious looking cakes. I’ve only tried it once but I’m already excited to try more. Highly recommend this bakery!

Great little coffee shop/bakery/patisserie in Boronia Park. Open early for those long commutes into the city for work.

They serve great coffee with 3 different blends depending upon your taste.

They also have fresh bread, delicious pies and cakes. They have a lot of cakes abs pastries and can buy on the day. The gf carrot cake is exceptional!

Also enjoy a cheeky cheese and bacon roll.

Quality and authentic pastries, my Italian friends vouch for this place too. Best melli foglie in town guaranteed. I get all birthday cakes there. Pastries and cakes in Sydney are always TOO SWEET, Boronia Bakehouse is the only place that makes their cakes just the right level of sweetness. I’d still drive to this place even if I moved faraway. :)

The butterscotch caramel cake was INCREDIBLY TASTY!! The cream, the frosting, the cake sponge.. so soft. It was an absolute Yum, mouth melting experience! loved it so much. Simply awesome and the best place to explore for cakes, pastries and much more.

Amazing. A true village shop icon. Cakes, treats, pies, bread, and so much selection. A few tables to have a quality Coffee. This place is what every bakery should be. Always busy but fast and efficient. Did i mention the friendly service? A must visit.

Freshly made bread, pastries, pies, sausage rolls......etc,etc everyday. Great friendly atmosphere with sensational staff. Coffee that can't be beaten too......go there and see for yourself. (2 thumbs up. If I had more thumbs, I'd put them up too.)

Great cafè. Shout out to Annie who always asks if I would like medium blend or super strong blend beans. “Medium blend please”, I answer.
