Been going for a while, enjoyed authentic 20+ years of family friendly service and hot spice recipes. The best Indo in Sydney hands down. Amazing jackfruit curry and rendang. Craving as I write. Ignore the humble cheap eat furnishing. Enjoy the food. Highly recommended.

Great traditional Indonesian food with the right amount of spice. The yellow rice and stirfried kang kong with a bit of a kick is my favourite. Reminded me of my uni days at UNSW. Thank you for setting up the banquet for our big group of 30!

One of the best Indonesian Padang Food, Great Taste, Great Value, especially the egg plant is a must try. This shop is definitely worth a try.

The beef rendang flavours are rich, well balanced and the tender beef pieces with coconut are really tasty. Would recommend the young jackfruit curry, belacan kangkong, cassava leaves, fried potato with prawns and green beans, and prasmanan (celebration dish!) for group dining

We love this place. There is great variety. It's similar to a buffet. The staff member grabs a plate and asks what you'd like from the bain-marie. Although the food is in a bain-marie, it tastes fresh. The rending is very tasty. It's very sweet, almost like a desert. There is a tasty chicken curry also. The interior of the restaurant is simple, but comfortable. I definitely recommend this place.

Fresh, delicious rendang, gulai ayam(chicken) and (daun singkong)cassava leaf was my favourites. Addition chilli sauce was awesome. Had occasional sate padang which was pretty amazing. You can order spicy fried rice with prawn yummm. Perkedel is one of the best i ever has in Sydney. Try it to believe it. 2 👍👍up.

First time at Sedap Rasa for some truly traditional Indonesian food and was not disappointed. Great food and atmosphere to share with friends and family. Highlights were the oxtail soup, curry chicken/jack fruit, fried mash potato and my personal favourite, the beef rendang.

Love the food here, the rendang is so good, i can say that this is one of the best Indonesian food in Sydney. But unfortunately, the price was too expensive for a 2 choice meal. It costs around $11.50. But overall, i love it

I have been a keen customer for many years. They make the best Indonesian Padang food in Sydney. Beef Rendang is awesome, Chicken curry, Green Chilli Fish and red chilli eggplant are amazing. Always a great variety of freshly made dishes to choose from the bain-marie. Ever so consistent.Thank you Sedap Rasa.

I visited the restaurant to celebrate my friend's birthday. The restaurant was small but the owner and staffs were really kind to us. We used buffets and all dishes were genuinely delicious. I tried Indonesian food at Ayam 99 before, but food here are so much nicer that Ayam 99. I literally ate every dishes and enjoyed them all. I'm willing to visit this place if I feel like Indonesian food.

I love their green chili fish and yellow fish curry. They are truly yum. A must try.

I had the banquet with a large group of friends it was quite a feast! The selection of Indonesian food was extensive and delicious. Service was amazing and hats off to Makcel for the fantastic presentation. I'll certainly be coming back with a new group of friends to introduce them to this place.

Granted, I just ordered the Es Kelapa but it was really good. Not too sweet, just the perfect amount of sweetness, I would love to try the Sate Padang next. All in all, the place looks very good, staff are very hospitable and I would recommend this place to anyone. 9 out of 10!

Love their food and service ! Their beef rendang and cassava leaves taste so good and the price is very reasonable - the food portion is quite plenty and their shop is very clean and convenient. Will definitely come again to try more food from their hot bar as well as their order menu. I've been a big fan of Padang food since i was little and i've been going to different Indonesian restaurants in Sydney to satisfy my cravings :) Yet I still reckon Sedap Rasa got the best Padang food in Sydney!!. :) the food is well-balanced and not that oily unlike other restaurants.
