Planar Restaurant

A great restaurant at the bottom of the ICC Convention Centre in Darling Harbour. Good staff service, they were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we didn’t have to wait long. I had the Chicken Tenders and a side of fries, very tasty especially the fries. It’s a very tastefully decorated restaurant. Very easy to get to by walking, public transport or cars. Would definitely recommend

Went here to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my partner, the lovely staff were so accommodating and had even reached out to ask if I’d like the table setting (as it was few days after Valentine’s Day) to romanticise our evening even more. They were so kind and the staff so well mannered, the food absolutely delicious, and the bar tender knows how to make a good drink, and the view was incredible!!

Had the best time will definitely return!

Planar is an australian restaurant located centrally in Sydney by Darling Harbor. Although it was a busy night and we did not have a reservation the servers quickly found an available table for us. The restaurant has a nice interior and a good selection of dishes. The food arrived quickly and tasted amazing. I would recommend the ragu pasta and fried rice. They even offer pasta making classes. Only downside was the music was a little too loud on the night we were there.

Upon arrival we were welcomed by our waiter Mateo. He gave one of the best experiences in the dome. Very professional and excellent service.
I would definitely recommend a dining experience in the dome Planar.

Restaurant was packed before Tom Jones concert. Started with a great cocktail. Took a while to get our order taken but food arrived pretty quickly. Started with Arancini balls, ragu pasta, prosciutto pizza and Pumpkin risotto with prawns. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

Great location and service. Although my order came out and was wrong, the waiter quickly rectified the issue. Both dishes were lovely. We definitely recommend the Salmon Benny.

The food was great, the bao buns were fluffy. The drinks were very well done aswell. Seating took a bit of time even though we had a reservation but the staff was very friendly. The view of the harbour was great. We watched the Saturday 9pm fireworks while we ate.

Came here to try their dining dome for Vivid and loved the food and the vibe. You can see the darling harbour light show from the dome and their $99 menu was great value. Standouts were the king prawn entree, which came in a very generous serve size, and the lamb cutlets which were super tender.

Went late at night because I was feeling rather bored (and hungry). I ordered the garlic bread and seafood linguini, and I’m not exaggerating by saying that the linguini was the best pasta I’ve ever had.

Hard to believe I never thought about dropping in here or making a booking and I’m frequently in Darling Harbour! The food here is top notch. Details, flavour, portions and cannot ignore the location!!! You won’t leave disappointed. If you love a beautiful fancy cocktail too this one is hard to ignore!

We can’t believe we’ve walked past this restaurant so many times and didn’t think to try the dishes here. The atmosphere (especially at sunset) was amazing, with the restaurant located right next to the water. The food was delectable, with our favourites being the sriracha prawn (which had a respectable kick) and truffle prosciutto pizza (which was so flavoursome).

We would recommend Planar Restaurant if you’re looking for a nice date spot or hangout with friends ‼

Seafood linguine was nice. Big prawns x 3, big scallops x 2, tender squids x 5 and mussels x 4. The Kangaroo was also good. We ordered raw which was just right. Waiters can be more attentive but they gave good suggestion on the cooking of kangaroo.

My wife and I dined here before we went to a concert. I am so glad we booked which l would recommend to anyone as the restaurant is so popular and busy. The food was beautiful and noting how busy they were, our meals came out quickly. Price for Sydney Darling Harbour is reasonable. Well done guys

The Planar was fantastic!
We ventured down on the harbour and found the restaurant with the brightest lights.
The service was amazing and food was delicious!
The staff were phenomenal! So friendly and we’re happy to join in with our antics!
