Pepper Lunch

I loved coming here and eating their delicious sizzling dishes. Their teriyaki salmon was super fresh and yummy. I recommend their salted egg dishes as well - so good.

Food seems pretty all right. Have only been here once. I didn't get the rude customer service treatment that many other reviewers are commenting. Guess I'm lucky!!

Pepper lunch has always been a favourite for its quick and easy meals but I feel like it's gotten better lately!

They have so much on the menu from their classic pepper rice to yakiudon and pasta! Even some dessert options come on a sizzling plate! Very impressed and love the flavours.

My favourite is the Hamburg curry. So freaking good!

Always my favourite and go-to place whenever I’m in the city! I have gotten all my friends to try it and they always love it! I usually get the wagyu with rice and add some curry to it… best meal ever! I love that it’s so hot too, definitely worth the mouth burn I get because I can’t wait until it cools haha. I will continue to keep coming back!

Amazing service I feel like that pepper lunch has changed lot during the past year I went here long time ago in 2016 I strongly recommend people should try the Japanese food.

Ordering from the machine is easy, food tastes good and it's definitely enough when you add a bunch of extra stuff, but it'll make it around $25-30+
One thing to be aware of when you're coming to pepper lunch at night, it'll become pepper dinner.

I recently tried the Hot Chicken Katsu sizzling curry at Pepper Lunch in Sydney CBD and I must say, it was absolutely delicious! I had it when the trains were not working and I was extremely hungry, and this dish definitely hit the spot. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the curry was bursting with flavor. The sizzling hot plate added an extra element of excitement to the meal, and the portion size was generous. The staff were also friendly and accommodating. Overall, I highly recommend this dish to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal, whether you're a regular customer of Pepper Lunch or just passing by.

Oldie but a goodie 😊

Had the Wagyu beef and the lot today for lunch with my colleague. The combo was def done well with the sauce and black pepper. Along with the cheese and egg combo was divine mixing it all together 🥰

It definitely is a "simple happiness" kind of meal to have every once in a blue moon 🌝

Pepper lunch is definitely delivers a different way of eating making it more enjoyable. Food is always delivered piping hot however is more on the pricey side when you want something to fill you up.

Staff are friendly but they are incosistent with the portioning size of meat. Also when its get busier, the wait is much longer and staff are running around. The place is usually packed. Seating arrangements are all very close to each other.

However food is still very delicious and hits the spot when your craving something comforty. And the food can never dissapoint in taste.

Nothing beats their classic beef pepper rice plate, but recently we’ve been enjoying their curry beff/hamburger option as well. Make sure to add the sweet and garlic sauces to your rice while it’s still sizzling for an extra flavour boost.

Really enjoyed the Pepper Lunch in Sydney, we travelled around the world and had Pepper Lunch in Japan, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Brisbane. The Classic Tomato Pasta is the best!

Best place in Sydney for a quick feed in my opinion. Best tasting pepper flavoured meals, quick service. Decent pricing. And best of all that sizzling hot plate. Leaves food yummy & crispy

Can’t go wrong with a quick feed at Pepper Lunch. Best part is pouring the sauce in and watching your food sizzle. So satisfying!

The creamy pasta is one of my favourite dishes, followed by anything with their mild curry. You can add on extra toppings, making each dish very personalised (warning: you may find your meal quickly becoming expensive by adding all the yummy options).

The self-serve stations are convenient so you can grab water, utensils, and extra condiments if desired (there is a nice garlic sauce that goes well with everything, or add some more spice to your food with chilli).

An amazing japanese stone pot rice restaurant with even more amazing food. Great portion sizes and is easily worth its price points. Easy to order with machine or over the counter. Would definitely visit again.

Need something quick, tasty and cheap? This place is my favourite for a late night meal, order any of the Pepper Rice dishes or Sizzling Katsu curries, so many options. Full of flavour and filling, enjoy with their Yuzu lemonade!

Amazing food, cheap and come really quick!
I have been here twice in 2 days and everything was wonderful.
You order your meal on a tablet (like McDonald) and then in a couples of minutes you get your food.

The vegetarian options are soooon good. Specially loved the curry one

Ordered Teriyaki chicken, onion rings and an ice cream. The meal was delicious and it also comes served with vegies & rice. There is moderate seating and overall it was a tidy place. There was a slight wait when we went in as they use the ordering touch screens but overall was nice and a good experience.

Everytime I come here, they never disappoint me.. the food is sooo yummyy.. I even brought my friends and family here and they also enjoyed the food.. the price of the food is reasonable.. the quantity of food is very good.. they have a good variety of options to try.. I tried both steaks and curries and all are amazing.. lastly, they also have a nice variety of drinks that you should try.. very refreshing!
