who like buffet dinner, don't miss it! On Mondays and Tuesdays, four people come together, one person is free. And you can eat all you want, but you need to pay for soft drinks and alcohol. You can't finish it, 100g is 15 AUD. so don't waste food. The service is very good, the meat and sashimi are very fresh, but there is only a little bit of wasabi, and the sauce plate is also very small, maybe you have to ask the to order? Maybe, but still great.

One of the best Yakiniku in the city of Sydney, can be a bit pricey, but the quality of meat and service is very good.

Usually come here a few times a year, with a bunch of mates we usually order the buffet and it never fails to disappoint.

I would suggest ordering small portions of the wagyu beef to determine the cut you prefer, usually we prefer the ox tongue, wagyu beef rib and the wagyu tri tip. The special pork rib is a must too and usually order lots of sashimi including the hokki Gai or surf clam.

I dined here today and was very satisfied with all aspects of my dining experience. All staff were incredibly friendly and most welcoming. I ordered the teriyaki salmon don meal set. It was delicious with a very generous portion of salmon and a lovely fresh accompanying salad. Highly recommended, I will be returning.

A decent place for japanese BBQ. Love the ambience they created that doesn't make me feel suffocating like any other BBQ places.
Good quality meats and friendly staff.

They have 2 options of dining experience that you can choose, which are a la carte and buffet all you can eat.
They have high quality & great selection of food choices, the meats offered are exquisite.
Highly recommended☺

I love Japanese BBQ all you can eat buffets and had so much fun at Musou Yakiniku. I loved trying every variety of wagyu, along with their signature ox tongue. The ox tongue was indeed super delicious and the wagyu cuts were pretty high quality - I especially enjoyed the wagyu tri tip, wagyu beef rib and wagyu outside skirt. The sashimi was fresh and I also liked the side dishes, including the takoyaki, wagyu yukke, octopus karaage and ice creams.

I recommend ordering a lot at the start to make the most of your time, and check out their Instagram/website for their promotions on certain days/times to make the buffet even more worth it!

🥢Musou Yakiniku, is a new Japanese BBQ Yakiniku restaurant located on Pitt Street, Sydney CBD 🇦🇺 This restaurant occupies a large space scattered with fluorescent signs and touch screens for ordering, very reminiscent of restaurants in Japan 🇯🇵 Everything is uploaded on the ipad, very convenient to order, they’re being uploaded on different tabs : meat 🍖 sashimi 🍣 sides, desserts 🍨 and drinks 🥤

💰 The $85 buffet is undoubtedly the best value as for two hours, you can order as much food as you please, without wasteage ( $9 extra if you want limited drinks, but it will be free if you dine in from Monday to Wednesday ) Dine the buffet menu for 120 minutes, with your last order at 90mins. Also, to maintain the hygiene, you need to pay $2 if you want to change the BBQ tray, because at Musou Yakiniku, they wash the BBQ tray & serve customers again, instead, they use brand new tray

🥩Highly recommend to order
1⃣ Wagyu beef rib
2⃣ Wagyu tri tip
3⃣ Wagyu outside skirt

🍖Other meats are also available like chicken, pork rib, duck breast, beef liver, pork loin 🥓pork sausage and more. Seafood is also included in the buffet squid 🦑 mussel, and scallop. I also ordered some deliciou sashimi : salmon, ...

🍙There were some amazing side dishes to be selected, including a delicious cold soba salad and the most amazing wagyu tartare with a running yolk atop. Some other options available include hot soup ( their egg soup is 10/10 ) , bibimbap, donburi, spicy chicken karage, Japanese curry, ramen, udon, soba, takoyaki and more.

🍰We also got some dessert which included in the buffet price – highly recommended to try green tea ice cream and hojicha ice cream.

🍘 At Musou Yakiniku, their mission is not only to serve quality food, but also provide outstanding service, and that they certainly did. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and the food came out almost as fast as we clicked ‘order now. You will certainly leave extremely satisfied and we thoroughly recommend a visit. A great date night and the bench seat set up makes Musou Yakiniku perfect for a fun group dining experience.

Loved it! It's great to see Japanese yakiniku in the Korean surroundings (although bibimbap on the menu suggests fusion). The service is very welcoming and attending. You have the option for buffet or ala carte. There are also additional specials available if you ask the staff, on notices on the table (for example Tuesday ladies parties are offered 50% off on cocktails). I definitely recommend marble beef - spare ribs are the best for those craving some juicy and fatty slices. Great atmosphere and amazing food!

They serve such delicious pieces of wagyu meat! It was so juicy and tender, I definitely enjoyed my visit and it left me so stuffed. Not only do they have meat, they have sashimi, salad, Japanese side dishes, soup, seafood, curry, noodles, ice cream and more. You can order as much food as you want using a tablet within 120 minutes.

Recommend the ox tongue, wagyu beef rib, outside skirt, tri tip and oyster blade! Also, you must try the roasted green tea ice cream!!

Bit expensive. $80pp for 2 hours eating time. Last order after 1:30. But lots of choices on the buffet menu.

Even when it’s full, the staff didn’t seem overwhelmed. Service was good and friendly.
The initial order came out pretty fast and swamped the table. Subsequent orders were a bit slow, might be because everyone was getting their last orders in.

There was no limit to what kind of meat we could order, like beef tongue. Can have as much as you’d like. Not like suminoya.

The roasted green tea ice cream (included in the buffet menu) was super yummy. Never had it before. And the ice cream seems fresh, not like suminoya which was very grainy.

Drinks weren’t included in the price, and didn’t seem like there was a all you can drink pass you can get like suminoya.

The place was half empty by the time our 2 hours was up, and so they just let us stay and chatted for a while which was nice.

Probably one of the most tasty Japanese BBQs in Sydney. The meat was only the best cuts, no grissle and it was delicious with the sauces we were given.

The price is a little steep but the food is quality enough to make it worth the trip. The staff didn't seem particularly friendly to us but it didn't ruin our experience.

I would recommend the black sesame ice cream over the matcha.

5/5 would love to come back again.

It is really fancy and yummy Japanese BBQ restaurant. I do love the interior decoration which is really traditional Japanese style. The restaurant serves best wagy beef and really delicious seafood salads. I really recommend this seafood salads which made with sashimi.

Excellent Japanese bbq! The interior is very clean, light and welcoming. The inside of the restaurant doesn’t smell like smoke and you don’t leave feeling like there is meat on you! The variety of meat and food was excellent, and the quality was awesome! Also a plus because we called up before going about gluten free options and they were very accomodating. Highly recommend!

Newly opened Yakiniku. Good place for having meals with friends.
The special set allows you taste different parts of the wagyu.
Matcha latte tastes good, but a little sweet for me. You will like it if you like sweet matcha.
Assorted kimchi refreshes your mouth especially after eating too much meat.
Highly recommend seafood salad!!!!!!!
Oishi sashimi as well!❤

I cannot describe how amazing the lunch special deal is. $29.90 gets you three selections, salad, miso soup and rice (plus discounted drinks). The deal runs Monday to Sunday so the weekenders don’t miss out. The choices cover wagyu beef, chicken, pork, seafood and vegetables. The wagyu beef cuts were unbelievably tasty. For juicy, succulent, tender, mouthwatering beef fans we recommend the skirt, flap, tri tip, rib, rib finger and oyster blade cuts. For a slightly leaner option go for the loin.

This place is more expensive than others for a la carte and buffet - but this lunch deal is an absolute steal. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for BBQ lunch.

One of the most great valued Yakiniku restaurants. Their platters are really good for up to four people and quality of the meats is excellent.

to be honest , it is expensive. I have been to other bbq buffets , it is the most expensive one . It is similar to Kobe’s bbq. if something is unique , it charge $85 that I can accept .
But it is really the same as Kobe .
The choices are not too much .

Lovely and marvellous BBQ Wagyu beef cuts. They melt in your mouth and tantalise your tastebuds!
Their lunch special is a bargain! 29.90 for 3 different selections c/w salad, rice and miso soup and discounted drinks. I went with my partner so we had 6 different cuts, which worked marvellously to our favor. We absolutely loved the Wagyu beef ribs, Wagyu flap meat, Wagyu Tri tip, Wagyu outside skirt, Wagyu oyster blade, and for the more lean, get the loin.

My girlfriend absolutely loves the Wagyu and this place has become our BBQ store.

The a la carte menu might suggest higher prices, but the quality is worth it. If youre worried, come for lunch. It'll be an absolute win for you.

The giggly Japanese waiter was attentive and was accommodating to my needs. She smiles and makes the dining experience significantly better. I got more sashimi after the timer expired because I asked somewhat nicely.

Overall the food was great and I made my money back and then some with all the sashimi I consumed. It was impossible to keep track of what orders have arrived because the system on the tablet was munted.

In conclusion, the dining experience was wonderful and you can also get a generous handful of minties from the jar as you leave to further cause confusion and display cooked behaviour. I shall only visit this venue if that certain waiter is working. The venue makes it clear that they are not Sushi Boss which is an establishment next door.
