Blackheath Public School

Three grandchildren through this school in the last 7 years. Since the old Prinicipal has gone, the place breathes life, vitality and excellence. The music program is absolutely fantastic - impossible to think how it could be better (and I have worked in schools across the world for almost 50 years). Ignore monosyllabic negative comments below, obviously people with agendas. This is a good school. [Disclaimer: I have never worked for the NSW Education Department]

This school has been great for the community

It's a great school.

As a student who went to this school for many years and even graduated here I found this school not amazing for help students that need extra help. I was there for many years and no teacher ever picked up on my dyslexia nor was there student support teachers in the class. I found that the classes were very big and sudents like myself felt alone.
But I also found this school to be very fun. I found that the school did many fun activies and were very outside nature based. I loved the way teachers would help you make friends and how you could chill out in the libary if needed.
I hope this helps you make a more informed desicant about sending your kid to this school. :)
