This gorgeous restaurant has such a nice airy atmosphere. Great venue for any occasion, whether for catch up with friends & family, or dates. Located conveniently near Town Hall/QVB. They have plenty of dumplings & mains on their menu, as well classic dessert like Deep Fried Ice Cream! Their dishes are solid, my faves were Truffle Xiao Long Bao & King Prawn Vermicelli. They have delicious cocktails & mocktails. And super lovely service too.

I have great experience in this restaurant. The decor inside is pretty cool with some tradition Chinese characters and poetry hanging on the wall. The foods are delicious. Ordered the Jade Tofu, Wagyu beef, seafood fried rice and fish maw soup, they are all well cooked. The service is excellent and manager is regularly checking in to gather feedback and engage with you. Will definitely come back again!

This is one of the most stylish Chinese restaurant in Sydney. It’s high ceiling, the setting is full of sunlight. The waiter is very friendly and chatty! Food is great as well!

This is a modern but yet traditional Cantonese restaurant in its cooking and taste. I ordered two dishes, Yang Zhou Fried Rice and Roast Duck Pan Cake cum Pao Cai Bao. Both dishes are tasty and not too oily and not salty, it is very Cantonese cook style. Definitely a place to visit when you are in Sydney.

Went here for lunch with friends. The restaurant vibe is lovely, I really liked the high ceilings with the natural light from the sunroof.

Good was great too. We had dumplings, the fish which I really recommend, and the crispy noodles with duck. The serving is quite big. For the mains, one plate can cater to 4 people.

Staff were friendly and accomodating. The service was efficient and well timed.

Will go back again for sure.

Really loved this Cantonese/Asian fusion style restaurant with lovely decor and very pleasant staff. We had a very early dinner but they were quite busy by the time we left. All of our chosen dishes were delicious especially the pork belly, tofu eggplant, wood ears with chilled cucumber. Amazing flavours. The perch with ginger and shallot is a dish I often order at similar style restaurants and I found the fish a little tough and not quite as good as I have had before. Nevertheless I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful and tasty meal with lots of interesting and fresh flavours. 4.6 ⭐

Returned to this restaurant with my running buddy the evening of the Sydney marathon and we were not disappointed. The eggplant starter was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our scallops with fois gras and mushrooms and scallops with peas and asparagus. Deliciously tasty and healthy. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I will definitely return yet again. 🥢🤩😋

Excellent Cantonese Cuisine in the heart of Sydney CBD. I ordered the Pot stickers and the three cup chicken hot pot. The pot stickers were excellent- freshly cooked, crunchy base, and juicy. The hot pot was also very tasty. The service was fast polite and attentive. Would definitely come again.

Initially thought this place would be more of a western take of Cantonese cuisines, but evidently not. The dishes are authentic and very tasty and approved by my cantonese friends.

The menu offers a good variety of meat, seafood and vegetarian selections, which showcases some of the most iconic cantonese dishes. The plum duck is a must-try, really rich in flavour and roasted to perfection, the plum sauce uplifted the taste to next level. The wagyu beef with black truffle, pumpkin and wild mushroom is also one of our favourites. And of course, the fried rice would never be a disappointment and merits a visit alone.

Serving portion is quite generous and good for sharing, very friendly owner and staff. Great place for family or friends gathering overall.

Such a nice restaurant with pretty decoration.
We ordered the truffle tofu, the Peking duck(with fried noodle) and sweet and sour pork. I would say all of them are tasty with good portion.
Last but not least, the service is very good. 老細好親切!
Highly recommend!

Conveniently located and the interiors are nice. It is a good place gor both small and bigger groups.
We started with a Cocktail which was nice and refreshing.
Then order few dishes to share and everything was very good. The service was also good.
And best part - we even got a fortune cookie on leaving 😊

I pass by this restaurant everyday, finally got a chance to have dinner there. We ordered prawn with wasabi, steamed squid dumpling, black angus with black pepper sauce, green bean with xo sauce, fried rice, crispy tofu with salted egg yolk, prawn toast and truffle xio long bao. What i like the most was black angus with black pepper sauce, the meat was so soft also prawn wasabi was nice as well.
I wish their tofu with salted egg had more flavour. However everything was nice. I will come back to try more.

The place is clean and the foods were nice, one of my favourite dishes is “Australian Wagyu Beef, Braised Foie Gras Paste”. They also offered a fortune cookie after your meal, very cute.

Wow! What an amazing little find. We were headed to Chinatown for lunch and walked by Tao restaurant on the way. As we were reading through their menu, Alex the manager came out and greeted us. Promised us the best Chinese food and boy did he deliver. We ordered 3 dishes, the seafood fried rice, XO prawns with vermicelli noodles and salt n pepper calamari. Most definitely the best Chinese food I’ve had. They also have a nice wine, beer and drinks menu. The decor is very nice, Asian shabby chic. Although there are no white table cloths, the food certainly is of that quality and Alex the manager is the host of all hosts. If I could give TAO 10 stars I would!

Seriously good Cantonese food in the heart of Sydney CBD, just a block from QVB building! Amazing service and food cooked with love, with awesome presentation.
I was well looked after by Alex and a lovely waitress.
Started with some Prawn and Chive Har Gao dumplings. These were served with some soy sauce and some of the best home made chilli sauce I have ever eaten.
I then had the Crispy Skin Chicken, such a big serve, I tried to eat it all but it got the best of me!
Very reasonably priced for such good quality food in the city.

Home of Modern Cantonese Cuisine located in the heart of the city and I couldn’t think of a better venue, to enjoy some delicious food while the weather was dark and wet outside.

This venue has such beautiful decor. Everywhere you turn, there’s something to look at and admire. The staff are so welcoming and were wonderful hosts.

We chose a couple of dishes and also got the restaurants recommendations on what to order. Everything brought to the table wowed us. So glad we got what we did!

I had to showcase the ‘Soft Shell Crab’ that was tossed in spicy garlic and red pepper ground. This was definitely my favourite dish of the night! I think the photo says enough.

The ‘Golden Crispy Tofu’ was equally as good. It was crumbed with a salty yellow egg yolk. It was a little crispy on the outside but soft and creamy on the inside.

For noodles, they suggested the ‘Stir Fried Angus Beef & Flat Rice Noodle’. Famous Hong Kong style noodles that were just delicious.

Of course, we needed to order some dumplings! We ordered three kinds. ‘Shepherd’s Purse Wonton’ which was soaked in red chilli oil and sesame paste. No surprise this was my favourite because of the chilli oil! ‘Pumpkin Dim Sim’ was also a favourite for me. It had a little sweetness to it which I loved and I would definitely order them again. And we also ordered the ‘Squid Dumplings’ because if it’s on the menu, I’ll get it! I drown these in soy sauce, vinegar and a little chilli.
