We went for autumn colors. There are not too many red/yellow leaves but enough for some photos. It's maintained well, and really quiet while not far from the railway station.

Such a gorgeous garden when the rhododendrons are in full bloom. There's not too much shade so make sure to have sun protection if coming on a very sunny day. There aren't many places to sit so best to bring a picnic blanket or something to sit on. Bathrooms are available and open however the Sunday that I went, there was nobody on site and the visitor centre/cafe was closed.

The garden is well maintained and (thank you so much for all the volunteers hard work) so beautiful. It is such a unique place to visit.

Hadn't been here for many years. The grounds have new walks compared to our last visit. Some areas are under construction and repair after storm damage.
It's still a beautiful, quiet space and a great place to walk and soak up nature. Whether you're a photographer, walker, or nature lover, you'll find the perfect place here. Seats are placed all over the Gardens if you want to sit and rest.
Entry is $5pp with eftpos available, entirely based on honesty. Doggies are welcome with free poop bags available at the entry.

There are few walking tracks to explore. Nice view if you come after November as more flowers will bloom that time.
It is worth to pay $5 at the counter, is a kind of donations as no one supervised for the entry fee.

The garden is beautiful with various colours of Rhododendron and species. It was well managed and facilities were excellent. The tea house inside was opened and enjoyed a cup of tea. Upper and lower parking areas were available.

Beautiful garden , entry fee is super cheap , the lady at the entrance are lovely . Spring for the flowers and autumn for the maple tree is the best time to visit plus it’s dog friendly . Been there couples times , will be back :)

Beautiful flowers! We came in early October. Beware Google maps will take you to a gravel road north of the gardens (Ridgewell Rd). You can access the garden's carpark via Bacchante St.

One of the best place for observing the beauty of flowers. There are rhododendron of different colors rather than just red. There is a cafe where you can just relax and have some snacks. Overall the place is worth to visit and enjoy a lovely day.

Extraordinary, exotic and exceptional flowers and trees. Words can’t describe the beauty captured. Good for families or couples who want to get a romantic backdrop to photos. No cafe and wear flat shoes as steep in parts. Bathrooms good and very easy parking.

Got talked into going here for some wack gnome festival, but I did not regret it. Usually I'm averse to altering anything in the mountains (don't even like gardens with introduced plants) but this place is gorgeous and has a wonderful, serene, atmosphere. Would love to take my work "from home" here one day; just not sure if the internet would hold out, but it truly retains the peace that the mountains is slowly losing to an excess of "tree change" types and an unreasonable number of tourists.

Very lovely and expensive garden. Please note entry is $5 per person cash only (no card), which is very reasonable. Dogs are welcome on leash.

Nice natural habitat garden with an addition of Gnome Collection part of the Rotary Club Blackheath charity programme. Nice walking path and easy for the seniors and children.

A very beautiful garden to visit. I loved the spectacular spring colour and the peaceful bush surroundings. I also enjoyed a Devonshire Tea at the Tea House.
