Peppercorn at Civic

My first visit and now Peppercorn is my to-go when I crave for Thai food. The service was friendly, the deep fried prawns were fresh and crispy yet not oily at all. The green curry had the right consistency and a good portion of veg in it..The peppercorn soft shell crab was a killer. Again the deep fried skills were perfect. The peppercorn stir fry veg was absolutely addictive. The only little letdown was the Singha beer. It didn't taste fresh or smooth. Next time I will order the Asahi tap beer.

I haven’t been back to this place recently, so I decided to re-visit this place again.
Well, all foods were delish, so for last night dinner, we had,
Pork knuckle, it was succulent and crispy at the same time.
Waiter asked, if we want chef to cut it up, and we are agreed. Presentation still looks very appealing!
Chicken feet salad...this is new dish for me to try.
Unbelievably soft texture and the condiment and sauce goes very well, even though dressing might be a little sour for some people.
And stir fry vegetables with ginger and duck meat.
Amazing!

Great services and nice Thai food with a bit of fusion! Make sure you try their dessert menu too!

A well decorated and very spacious restaurant. The restaurant is always buzzing with customers as their food is absolutely wonderful. Their menu is extensive and the service is next level. The flavours in their food are genuine representations of true Thai food. I have re-visited this place many times and I highly recommend the Massaman Lamb Shank curry and definitely don't forget to order a Banana Flower Salad

Really tasty creative thai food, we had the pork knuckle with sweet chili sauce and the green mango salad which was delicious, will definately be coming back to this place. The prawn crackers were really too!

Had the beef massaman curry and spicy pork belly followed by dessert consisting of fried ice cream and pandan creme brulee. Every dish was made to perfection and portions are generous. The drinks menu including both alcoholic and non alcoholic, is quite extensive with lots of variations. The modern interior decor is aesthetically pleasing and overall an ideal place to have a gathering. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in Sydney, highly recommended.

On the 1st floor of Civic Hotel. Good place for Team lunches or events. Wide variety of dishes available. Typical Thai Spices. You can select how hot you want. Standard prices. Bar attached.

So much better than I expected! Would so recommend their fruity shake! Durian yuuuuuuuum will defs go back for the fruity shake and their durian. Best fried ice cream I’ve ever had too.

This restaurant is on "Must Visit"-list when I travel to Sydney. The Pork Knuckle is heavenly 🤣

I love the food here. They have a really big variety too. The penang curry is the best I've had. The satay chicken skewers are delicious with a generous amount of sauce. Best in groups so you can share. Lots of seating, but it's a popular place so you may want to book if you have a big group. About $20pp gets you more food than you can eat.

This place surprised me. Firstly, I didn't realise it existed as it's upstairs in the city. Secondly, it wasn't overcrowded and there was plenty of seating. The food is lovely, I'm not an expert on Thai cuisine so I can't comment on it's authenticity but it was truly delicious. For a good feed for 3 including not alcoholic smoothies, it was really quite reasonable when the cheque arrived.

Nothing to complain about. Pad Thai, banana flower salad with crispy chicken (mild spicy), and fried ice cream are highly recommended. This is truly one of the most great Thai food restaurants I've ever been to. Clean, spacious dining space with very friendly staff.

Staff are outstanding, making many accommodations for our large group. The unique cocktail menu is a surprise, and almost out shone the incredible food. Thanks Nut and Team ~ highly recommended.

came in without an reservation, i was with a few of my friends and we were trying to work out where to have dinner, my friend mentioned she wanted Thai, so we went to Peppercorn at Civic and was instantly greeted with a friendly staff member, she asked us if we have had a reservation i said no, she was fine she seated us anyway, she gave us the menu and gave us some time to make our selections, she came back some time later and we ordered drink, we needed more time to order our meals, finally we had made our selections and the waitress came back and took our order.
The food came in no time, and it looked sooooo delicious and it tasted even better!!, my friends and i were soo pleased, we left happy and would love to come again!.

Came here for the first time a few months ago on a friends recommendation, and have been coming nearly fortnightly since. The food here is simply outstanding, and is incomparable in terms of flavour to anywhere else in Sydney.

As an added bonus, on Friday evenings the rooftop bar is thrown into life by reggae/hip hop DJs; the best way to celebrate the end of another work week.

For me, most Thai places ruin dishes by adding too much sweetness however at Green Peppercorn, the balance between sweetness, spiciness and heat was on point. The specials kept things really interesting but the menu also including Thai staples like curries, spicy meat salads and noodles. I am keen to try the Laos side of the menu next time. The dessert menu is extensive! so this is the right place if you have a sweet tooth and want to indulge in some serious Asian-inspired desserts.

Our favourite restaurant in Sydney - the location is easy to find, the staff are friendly and best of all, the serving sizes are large for small prices. Dont let the pub underneath turn you off visiting this restaurant - every dish we have had here is delicious!
