Blackheath Kebab House

Thank you so much to the beautiful people here! We were visiting for the weekend and went for dinner at 7pm but they needed to close early due to electrical work in the area. The lady saw us out the front as we arrived just as they turned the sign to close. She saw us trying to figure out what to do and came to ask what we wanted and when we had said just a snack pack she very kindly allowed us in, and said we could be the last order for the evening! It was so appreciated and not to mention the chicken snack packs were so well appointed, delicious and filled to the brim! Thank you again for making our night!

Damn noisy with semis thundering past constantly, but hell what a kebab. It is a very generous serving, with real hummus and reasonable tabouleh. Friendly staff and quick service. Be hungry when you go there.

Excellent kebab shop that also has great pizza and pide. We had the Chicken Kebabs, Cheese pizza and Chicken and mushroom pide - all were tasty and good value for money. We have come here everytime we visit Blackheath. Highly recommended!

Excellent felafel kebab and fries. But the pide is the real star! Freshly made on the spot, the dough is soft and it melts in your mouth. The filling is rich in flavour and perfectly balanced. We had the vegetarian one and the potatoes with cheese. Love it! Absolutely recommend.

Stopped here for the first time whilst working. Food is amazing. Very large servings. Will definitely stop by next time I’m in the area

A great family run shop, makes for a quality feed when you’re transiting through the Blue Mountains on the way in or out of Sydney! Can highly recommend the Blackheath Pide - full of flavour and comes out crispy and fresh!

I had a kebab from this shop the other night. Great service! Very friendly staff and delicious kebab.
I would recommend to anyone and I'll visit again when I'm in blackheath again.

The owner is an absolute gem! He's incredibly friendly and kind.
While waiting, I saw a group of friends eating together. One of them didn't have his own plate, so was going around picking from his friends' plates. The owner, after watching for a few minutes, started making the boy the plate and called him over with "what sauce do you like?". Humanity at its finest

Staffs are lovely, eating area are very limited, street parking only, best kebab I ever had and so much meat and vegetables definitely worth the money.

Quick service, great chips, and I had a chicken kebab with the lot which was great too!

My son had a bad tummy (not from food here) and threw up in the shop when we were waiting for our order. The guys are pretty awesome to clean it up. One said his daughter is four and he understands what it is like. Wonderful bunch. After we got home and the food was pretty tasty too!

Absolute staple I have been going here years and always loved the food truely sad when it was shut for a month for the owners to have well deserved break still for my first kebab of the month as I came in to early today 😭 I love blackheath kebabs GOAT of kebabs in the greater blue mountains western nsw region in general as a whole. Get the blackheath special pide best pide ever no joke

Service was very good we changed the menu.... not a problem. Pizza went down a treat.

Hungry at late dinner while walking past this Kebab House, I didn’t expect their wrap to be this good. Very affordable price and huge portion with crispy skin and lots of tender beef. I’m writing this review to help boost the small shop getting more business, as they deserve it. If you happened to be around the area for whatever reasons, please try them out.

Best kebab in nsw if you have the time for a drive I highly recommend it 👌 👍

After a day of wintry but sunny hiking, we enjoyed sharing the No 1 gozleme ( mushroom, spinach and cheese) and the No 1 pide ( mince, tomato, smoky spice not chilli) with a mixed salad. V tasty. Liked the smoky flavour in the pide topping. A Thursday night in winter but plenty of customers. Only a few tables inside , all taken, we had takeaway. Good service.

Highly recommend. A perfect Falafel roll. Excellent Baklava. All breads and pizzas etc. made with love from scratch. Glad we skipped the queues to get a great meal here full of fresh ingredients and quality preparation.
