Canguri Boutique Farmstay Cottage Mudgee

Had a wonderful farm stay close to Mudgee wineries. The cottage was very clean and had everything you need to have wonderful get away. Sitting on the deck having breakfast viewing the breathtaking landscape
Watching the Kangaroos and wallabies was a morning delight. Evenings were enjoyed sitting around the fire pit drinking the complimentary red wine (a great local drop) and watching the bright night sky.
The farm is easy access to restaurants and wineries in the Mudgee region. Would highly recommend Canguri.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ananth and Adriana’s Canguri cottage. This was our first family getaway with our newest arrival (then 3 months old) and it was just what we need. A beautiful respite from the city. It was really easy to get to with the directions they provided and the road was very well maintained. We spent most of our time nesting by the fires (it was winter) both indoor and outdoor, it was so cosy. There is a great amount to explore on the property, although we didn’t get to see it all (it’s so big!!). We loved watching the cows mull over the sunrise and kangaroos hop through the sunset, also the 15/20 min walk to sunset point is worth it if you can pull yourself away from the Fire. The bbq and kitchen were well equipped , and when we didn’t feel Like cooking we took the short drive into town, and visited the wineries too Ofcourse. The view from the cottage over The Valley was just breathtaking and we’re really hoping we can visit again soon.

Had the most amazing weekend getaway at Canguri. Kids and family friendly. Lots of native wildlife around. Truly off the grid if you want a break from the daily grind while being close enough from all the Mudgee's must visit spots.

This cottage farmstay was perfect for our little family of four get away. The farm surrounds are amazing, with breathtaking views of the nearby hills and valley. The property allowed for us to easily walk around and explore the grounds, and the kids loved seeing the cattle, sheep and kangaroos roam. The cottage had everything we needed, we especially loved the gorgeous deck and outdoor entertainment area with fire-pit and BQQ. We also enjoyed the beautiful indoor fireplace, and curled up to watch the DVDs provided. The breakfast hamper was lovely, especially the beautiful coffee, bacon and eggs! The location also allowed us to easily explore the Mudgee region and was about 1 hr 20min drive Taronga Western Plains zoo in Dubbo which we visited with the kids. We would definitely come again, and recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful country get away.
