The Old Britannia

Loved Lunch today , Mumsie and Dad had the Seafood baskets, very yummy. I had the Atlantic Salmon served medium rare very nice chef. We come to the old Blood and Guts quite a few times during the year , never disappoints. Love it friendly staff and the food always good, today was exceptionally well. Fantastic guys loved it !!!

The food here is in incredible, using the best of local vegetables etc, steak cooked to perfection and well sized portions. Have eaten here several times now and have never had a complaint. Pricing is on average for other pubs without being very expensive.

Nice steaks and good price. Tuesday night specials have a 250g rump steak with chips & gravy for $13. Good value. Not many places have good meal deals like that anymore and is cooked to your liking yum !!

No matter the occasion, work, family or social the service and quality has been amazing. With great prices and large servings. Perfect for the kids with the new games arcade and no pokies on site. A place that's there for the community. A real asset to our little town!

Our family stayed here for 3 nights.
The best pub accommodation l have stayed in ever.
Better than one not mentioning names in The Rocks in Sydney.
Awesome bar staff, nothing was any trouble.
Food was yummo.

Lovely country pub.
We were visiting family and decided on a few drinks and dinner after reading reviews.
We we definately not disapointed.
Great selection of tap beer and a reasonable choice of wine by the glass.
The bar staff were as friendly as you could ask for and we enjoyed the banter.
The food...
For a little out of the way kitchen and dining room it compared to any good pub ive visited.
I opted for a mexican topped chicken schnitzel which was a freshly crumbed and generous piece of breast meat.
Loads of jalapeño and guacamole with sour cream and cornchips to boot.
It also came with thick cut chips and a fresh salad dressed with honey mustard.
My beautiful partner enjoyed her garlic prawns which were numerous and also were accompanied by a bowl of deliciously dressed salad.
For around $50 i considered our meal great value for money.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Have just re-opened. Food was really good and the staff very friendly. Brough some toys out for my son to play with while we were waiting for dinner

We had lunch at the Old Britannia and it was great. The food was the best pub food I've ever had and the personalised service provided by Ryan was fantastic. Laidley is lucky to have such an establishment in its midst. We shall return!

The Old Britannia has a great atmosphere and the staff provide a great service. Food and selection of drinks is great. They are so good that my office will be having the staff Christmas function there.

Have only just got off the phone after having booked a weekend away here at the end of September but I just wanted to say the service provided over the phone was extremely courteous, polite and helpful, unlike some other local places I had rang. Looking forward to our stay in a few weeks time. Thanks for helping with our accomodation at such short notice. :-)

First time there friends took me there for my birthday nice and relax place the food is good and are big serves well worth it.

Friendly staff and delicious food. Air conditioned. Would highly recommend. Definately will come back again.

Great rooms in very good condition to stay overnight with a separate TV room with coffee. Good friendly service and a good selection of food.
