EIGHT Dining

We came here with work colleagues and had a great time! Loved the ambience of the venue, the friendly staff and the food was delicious. It is a large restaurant/cafe with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating in a modern and sophisticated feel. Best new place for drinks and food in the lower North shore! We will be back again for dinner and live music!

Had one of the most satisfying barramundi in a long time. The staff were amazing, always smiling and friendly. The location of the restaurant is so convenient and the ambiance was very cozy. I highly recommend this place for a good company and a good vibe. The steak was perfectly cooked and fresh. The portions of this place are big.

Our first time at Eight Dining was lovely meal. An early, kid friendly dinner of chicken and fries, tacos for $3 each and $12 margaritas.

Service was attentive, decor comfortable and varied - we chose a lounge setting which perfect for our needs.

We didn't sample much of the extensive menu or the coffee but would happily return to do so.

St Leonards square development and neighbouring areas under construction show promise, just hope Eight Dining can get through the construction and COVID closures.

A nappy change was needed during our visit - access to bathrooms is located within the St Leonards Square and require a PIN code to enter. I couldn't find a baby change table in the male bathroom and the accessible bathroom seemed to require a key or fob to open. Unsure if the change table is located there or on the female bathroom. These little things detract from an experience - not with Eight Dining but with the overall visit.

New kid on the block! Classy elegantly designed. I took one look at this place and I could tell that people who are behind this know what they are doing. I tried the coffee and my instant reaction was wow 🤩! The best St Leornards has to offer. It’s big call, yes I know and I have tried most them around here. Judging by the coffee I can’t wait to come back for dinner.

Large interesting space with great food and comfortable chairs - yes comfort is a thing! Attentive service and smiles - a great combination.

The best tiger prawns you'll ever eat. Amazing ambiance, wine and menu. On top of that, the owners are friendly and personable.

Was here for my work Christmas party on the weekend and due to cancelled plans with our original venue, we only booked EIGHT the night before. They catered to 20 of us perfectly and we were so grateful that they made our xmas party so enjoyable, especially such last minute. They handled everything so well! Cocktails and food were delicious and arrived very fast considering the amount we ordered. Would definitely dine here again.

Took a party of 10 here for our Christmas dinner. Had the VIP area with the curtains pulled feeling a little more private. Food was great scallops entree followed with rib eye and plenty of drinks no complaints here. Would recommend.

Went to the restaurant last night. The restaurant is beautiful. Feels so comfortable being there. I had the linguini with prawns. They were generous with the prawns and it was delicious. My companions had the Pork which they said was outstanding. Their wines are reasonable priced. So happy to have this new restaurant in our area. Looking forward to going back.

Such a great spot with an amazing fit out. Food was delicious, we went around the menu and every dish was enjoyable. Reasonably priced including the wine and service was exceptional. Definitely be back and the live piano Saturday night only added to a great night.

I went here last night and the food was amazing! The staff were accomodating in making us mocktails as they only had alcoholic drinks on the bar menu. We stayed for dinner and the food was superb - everything from the crispy pork belly, seared salmon and linguine was divine. I'm already looking for a reason to come back ASAP!

For such a new kid on the block this place is going to really be a leading restaurant on the North Shore. Still working through their processes but the food shines through. Definitely recommended.

The grilled split prawns are possibly one of the nicest prawn dishes I have ever eaten!

Love this eatery. Its classy, feels high end. Amazing customer service - all the staff are happy to be there. The menu has recently been refined - delicious, high end quality food. You can't go pass the Gnocchi!

Suitably modern and clean decor, and Covid safe. Bar and restaurant.
Great service and coffee - cappuccino and flat white were nicely creamy.
Gf banana bread was great and not too sweet.
First time here - will definitely return next time in St Leonards.

Best Restaurant in Crows Nest. I don’t normally leave reviews, however, this restaurant deserves it. The food exceeds all expectations, especially the Pork and Chicken mains. I’ve now visited 3x since opening with each visit exceeding the last. The kitchen, owners and the team should be incredibly proud of the restaurant and the experience they deliver!

We had a team lunch at Eight and the food was great. It's just opened so it appears quiet, but I'm quite sure as the word gets out about the venue, it will be come more busy over time. From a group of 10 we all agreed to eat there again.

Beautiful spot to eat. Great food in a comfortable, classy set up, but the real stand out are the staff who were warm and friendly from the off. Really nice to eat at a place where the customer service is on point, even for big groups!

Everything from the food to the décor was amazing, the girl who served us was super friendly and so were the bar staff who gave us some great recommendations on cocktails.
Will definitely be returning!

Outstanding service, beautiful food & devious cocktails + great vibe. Its only been open for a few weeks and I've been twice :)
