What an amazing drive up. Don't look down if you get vertigo! Leads up to the snow fields at Ben Lomond. Very beautiful area.

Such a very nice place but please drive carefully and always come prepared. Rock roads and lots of wildlife in the area..

Awesome view too..

We had an amazing time. If you're willing to make the trip do it. We drove to the national park for this and it was everything I wanted. The kids loved it, the mother in law loved it and I loved it. The rock formations are just awesome to look at. The view is great and makes you feel like your not in Tassie or Australia. Pictures never do it justice but I think it's worth it. My only recommendations do it in summer months, use the toilet before you go, pack a picnic and drive safe.

Must see. Be careful when you drive up and down. Road is unsealed after you turn off the Cxxx road, but condition was reasonable. Pick a sunny summer day to visit so you don’t scare yourself to death driving up and down. Each turn of the hair comb section has a different name - how cool is that!

Awesome view, scary but breathtaking experience. I did met some travellers who decided to turn back at the starting point, and took me a while to decide if I actually wanted to drive up. The drive is pretty steep and it would be ok if you're a steady driver, however it all depends on if there's any car coming from the opposite, and if that person is good at driving too.... It will be okay if everybody just be more cautious while driving on this route ✨

Amazing view, feeling of solitude and tranquility when you have this place to yourself. When driving the descent, allow yourself room to go wider around the corners as the insides of the corners that can have some step-downs that may be problematic.

A last-minute addition to my Tasmania road trip and ended up being my favourite place to visit in this amazing state. Just do yourself a favour and get your national park pass for a few months as you will use it around the state.

What an amazing place to visit. Good dirt road to the base. The climb is gradual and the hairpins are really wide. The decent is breathtaking with plenty of room to park a bike to get those great pics. Be warned. The weather can change quickly so take something warm.
A must do if you want to visit the home of Tasmania's 2nd highest mtn. Cheers

Beautiful area. A bit of a scary drive but gorgeous at the same time. You can walk around the top to the summit for a sneak peak at an alpine environment.

This was a must do on my 850GS on a recent trip to Tassie. The dirt roads in were very well maintained and suitable for road vehicles. The climb up Jacobs well worth it for the amazing view

A must do in Tassie. Fantastic views at the top. Narrow road heading up so take care. And it snowed when we hit the lookout, incredible!

Bloody cool drive and makes for great photos. Downside, people who obviously can't drive very well make the road challenging

Amazing drive for the summer months! Strong weather blew in and with a couple of lightening bolts to dodge and a strong updraft under our wings at the lookout, we felt alive.
