Great vibes all around!

Nothing beats a B&E roll on a Sunday (I’m still drooling from thinking about it). We just missed the breakfast cut-off, but luckily they accommodated us. The staff were top-notch too!

While in North Sydney this became my "start of day" ritual. Pleasant and attentive staff, yummy food in a quiet neighborhood setting. Despite the damp and drizzly weather, I opted to dine al fresco each day. Well done North Spoon

Great place, friendly staff, great food, so tasty and delicious. We tried a couple of foods at this place. I usually don't eat poached eggs, but you must try Turkish eggs in here so delicious!

Following an issue, they managed to turn around my order and have it delivered to my home in under two hours, ensuring I was a satisfied customer. Spectacular eggs benedict with pumpkin seeds except I think the delicious feta was high lactose so played havoc with my tummy afterwards. Coffee tasty & immaculate service from an efficient and zealously friendly, very attractive 6’4’ Calvin Klein model. Will return to be served by him- hope they serve wine (not sure).

Really great experience here this morning. Very friendly staff! We had the breaky and the bruschetta. Both were HUGE portions and very reasonably priced, with delicious flavour. It was also super lovely to be able to see the Harbour Bridge with breakfast! Highly recommend - particularly for the coffee!

I hosted my 21st at the North Spoon last Saturday. Gareth was so accomodating in the lead up to the event, and helped to cater for any ideas I had. I was so happy when I saw that they had changed the menu screen, welcome sign and logo to match my theme colours for the night! The staff were so friendly and helpful on the day, and the food was delicious! The venue’s atmosphere was perfect for the ✨enchanted✨ dinner vibe that I was going for. Will definitely be back!!

Local favorite. Gets a little busy during the weekend and might have to wait for a table but has a nice breezy vibe with nice staff. Good iced coffees and coffees in general.

Great coffee. I didn’t try the toasties but I’d say the muesli was fair. Vivid vibes and very friendly staffs! Highly recommend 🤍

I held a birthday party at North Spoon and I can say I don’t think you could find a better venue to hold a function. It was so nice to have a mix of indoor with open windows and outdoor. The team were so easy to deal with and did everything with a smile. The atmosphere and service really helped to make it an extra special night.

The staff at The North Spoon are so professional and amazing to me and the guests, the food is also amazing!

I highly recommend anyone thinking of hiring this venue for their wedding!

Great coffee. Bright and airy local cafe, well spaced with good ambiance. Had the jaffles (Margherita and funghi one) and they were a good light snack and quite delicious. Friendly service, would return to try more.

We had the North Spoon vegetarian breakfast plate. The portion is large and the food is very tasty.

The potato cake is very well fried, mushroom really juicy, and the beans and it’s sauce also good. I also like the sour dough they used, it’s a bit hard on the edges though. Overall I think the meal is very satisfying.

The service is also very good, and the surrounding is lovely and comfy. Certainly good to bring your other half or family over.

I had a lovely breakfast here today, I got a scrambled egg wrap and my friend got the corn fritters. Both were amazing.
Also the coffee was lovely.
Perfect location for breakfast lunch or dinner.

Such a great find for a Friday lunch. We ordered the burger, Burrata & Taktouka, Italian wine and double chocolate milkshake. Yum! The food and drinks were delicious and the service was fantastic. We look forward to coming back soon.

Best cafe (and only cafe) I ever go to whether I’m on my own, with my husband or if we bring the little Rugrats in. Everyone is very understanding and loves kids even more than an actual kids cafe.
Food and coffee is the same EVERY TIME. AMAZING!

Friends in Costa Mesa CA USA had mentioned that North Spoon was a much loved location in Sydney’s north side so on my return home I decided to venture into the casual realm of the North Spoon on a rainy Monday. Images & the menu will tell you that the crew work hard with local growers & suppliers to provide the very freshest produce available & its obvious that their commitment to the establishment is well rewarded… even on a rainy day!
Their crab cakes are outstanding & the octopus salad was truly divine amongst a light myriad of tantalising breakfast, brunch & lunch options.
I rate the offerings 8 1/2 out of 10! Why not higher? Because I’m a pain in the arse!
Spoon is a lesson to all small light dining business operators that food & it’s quality is but part of the equation. Relying on ridiculously young staff as a cost save is false saving. Spoon has mature staff that are life skilled, engaging, well timed in their arrival & departure & is ever mindful of when you’re ready to order or move forward. This service is reminiscent of the many eateries I’ve visited in Italy & France. Attention to detail, engagement & developing a rapport with the customer.
The menu is incredibly well priced as is the wine. You don’t walk out thinking you been sitting on some restauranteur’s finger for the past hour but rather being appreciated for the visit.
All up, GO! excellent quality, service & value! I’m a fan!

I’ve been here a few times, lovely atmosphere. Great place for brunch or to grab a take-away drink for a walk around Wendy Whitleys gardens. Parking can be tricky but its only 10min from the train. Has an outdoor courtyard

Delicious food and coffee in a really nice location. It is a pleasure that we found this restaurant, and we will definitely come here more often. We ordered the salmon stack and the mushroom bowl. The salmon stack was definitely good, but the mushroom bowl truly blew me away. It’s a great combination of different flavours and with a bit of kick.
Second visit: We had a sweet tooth today and ordered açai bowl and sweet potato pancakes. Equally delicious!
