What a surprise to find an incredible, top of the pile, Chef in downtown Innisfail. I could tell from the first mouthful of authentic fresh made hollandaise sauce like I haven’t tasted for a decade. To the waft of scents coming from the kitchen of spiced meat being prepared for Taco Tuesday. The playlist, the view, the relaxed staff happy to help and a yummy menu. Couldn’t ask for more. We will be back

We had a huge family Dinner in celebration of the life of my late Uncle Kerry. The restaurant opened up specifically for us which was very nice . The food was excellent and terrific value for money beautiful rib eye steak with king prawns, Danny’s special seafood pasta, seafood basket, grilled fish , etc etc everything was great the service was spot on and being a table of 30 people the was they take your individual orders as they move around the table for food and drinks and you pay as you go is a great idea they use an iPad style ordering and payment device. The chef was a legend he also comes out to check on us to provide that professional service. Great location too just next door to the newly renovated pub and across the road from the small marina and water. It’s a must visit and try cafe del fuego fine fare .

Came here the other night as a friend referred that the food was delicious and had to try for myself. Ordered the kilapatrick oysters, and WOW 🤩 they were the most delicious and tastiest I’ve ever tried, the flavours in the sauce worked well with the oysters and the bacon for that Smokey flavour all worked together perfectly. Great portion sizes with great punches of flavour. Then ordered their Southern Fried Chicken burger and was soo divine.

Only 1 criticism was that the music could have been a little more quiet but wasn’t overpowering loud, and was still able to enjoy my meal and have conversations.

Overall the food is very tasty, great portion sizes for the price. Will definitely have to come back next time.

I went here last weekend with a friend of mine and everything about this restaurant was amazing. The staff were super friendly and timely with coffee, food, etc. the food was amazing and great serving sizes, making it worth the money. As for the coffee, the best coffee I have had in the time I have been living here. So smooth and velvety! 100% recommend dining here!

Absolutely beautiful meal, prawns were to die for. The beetroot kumara salad was amazing… highly recommend. Staff were lovely too.

I recommend the ribs, the squid salad, buttermilk chicken burger - honestly haven’t had a bad meal. Haven’t even had an average meal. Delicious

Report on the imperial hotel... PASS !!... only does certain dishes on certain days ( surf and turf only on Sundays ) ... how stupid is that !! ... so I walked next door to the old coffee club.. not only did they have a surf and turf ( any day u wanted ). But they allowed me to ditch the rump steak and replace it with a rib eye steak... pricey customisation, but very yummy... top points for good customer service 👍

We always do lunch here, have been here 4 times now and it is always a very easy and relaxed atmosphere.

Food is very good and the prices are very reasonable.

Great little gem of a place - have stopped on my way to Cairns a couple of time now and very impressed

The Chef adapted the breakky as a Vegan Option, and guys.. take a look into this (photo) 🤩😋.. Very nice service (the waitress with a tattoo on her hand served us 😄) and the atmosphere is very nice as well 👌🏼. After Cafe Del Fuego I won't accept less than breakfasts like this when travelling on my holidays hahah 😅😊

Solid new cafe on the river front. Owner and staff have things dialled in. Burger was tasty. Fresh hand cut fries were awesome. Will be back to try the cheese steak.

One of the BEST breakys I’ve ever had and you have to try there home made baked beans 🤤 for a great price to!

Sitting right opposite the Johnstone River in Innisfail,it is a place to sit,relax and dine,we had Brunch there it was very good.

This was our last stop for breakfast on our drive from Melbourne to Cairns and easily one of the best breakfasts/cafe on the way. Well run , plenty of staff , clean , good music , nice view and a great breakfast menu.

Chefs Breakfast...them home-made style baked beans with shredded pork was awesome.
