Ventuno Restaurant

We were greeted with a smile and served by the amazing Sasha. She gave us recommendations which she was not wrong and the quality of food was delicious. Absolutely recommend and definitely would dine back again. Thank you Ventuno for making my husband's birthday one to remember. We had Antipasti platter to start, then by their special of the day ravioli with sauce to die for, crumbled Jon dory and finished off by delicious Truffle pizza.

I had a really nice time and delicious food at Ventuno Italian restaurant. The staff were wonderfully warm and welcoming, and the service was extremely fast. I ordered the Rigatoni and it was amazing. I also ordered the cheesecake and was so surprised at how beautiful it looked and tasted. The views and atmosphere were fantastic and the place is also accessibility friendly with easy access from both ends of the restaurant.

We had a very tasty spicy salami pizza with a beautiful light crust and an excellent medium heavy Italian wine that wasn’t too expensive. It’s a lovely view and an excellent place to come and have food after a swim at the local rock beach in the harbour. And the deserts were soooooo fresh.

Great food, drinks and vibes. And their Apperal spritz is a perfect balance of all the ingredients

The setting is perfect, and the service is top notch. But the best thing about this place is the food. If you haven't tried the eggplant, you don't know what you're missing. And the octopus! And the strozzapreti!

I can’t thank you enough for the hospitality provided today for my son and his new wife to celebrate their wedding. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful; the food and service were fabulous; the set up was lovely…absolutely everything was just brilliant! We all felt so relaxed and happy. What a great way for the couple to start their new life with this amongst their memories. Thank you all so much! Perfect!!

We celebrated our wedding lunch here and it was fabulous. It was genuinely the best customer service I have received in many years. Shannon, the events manager, is a lovely person and fantastic to work with. I would highly recommend Shannon and Ventuno for both private and corporate functions. Some background info: our previous lunch venue had cancelled on us two weeks before the wedding day. We spoke with Sails on Lavender Bay who were unable to host us but the lady recommended Ventuno.

I spoke with Shannon, the events manager, who was able to accommodate our wedding lunch in the private dining room with a set up for 19 guests. We opted for the Sit Down Style lunch with the banquet menu. In the lead-up to the event everything was really well thought out and planned, really great communication from Shannon who made sure we were always informed, she also responded to emails in a timely, professional and polite way. Honestly, for a small wedding like ours this was the perfect space. Moreover, there are many options included in the booking at no extra cost that other venues typically don't cater for or charge extra (eg. cake table, microphones, PA system etc). On the day of, we were looked after by Serena and the manager Fabio who were both lovely and professional.

Food: On the day we were blown away by the quantity and quality of food. All our guests said that this was the best wedding food that they had ever had. My family is Italian and we were all impressed by the authenticity of the ingredients and recipes. For our event the dishes were brought out sharing/ family style, served in the middle amongst diners. However, the portions were abundant and there were many of the same dishes brought out down the table so each guest had ample opportunity to take seconds or thirds and try different things. The food was served in courses, leaving plenty of time to socialise. The pasta was freshly made and the sauces were really delicious, everyone had a favourite.

There was so much food that we were able to organise with Serena and Fabio to have the leftovers put in containers for the guests to take home with them.

The flowers provided by Ventuno's florist were really fresh and perfect for the event and added a nice touch to the tables!

I highly recommend Ventuno for any events and would host future events here.

One of the best dinners I have ever had, my family and I got the lamb shoulder, pizzas and ravioli and it was amazing! The best lamb I have ever eaten, could not recommend this place enough. We will definitely be going back. Definitely worth travelling for.

This place was awesome, the focaccina was so delicious, I could’ve eaten that for dinner on its own. The staff were super lovely, especially since we were in a rush and asked to order straight away, and asked at the last minute for a desert with a candle for my sisters birthday which they did straight away and sung happy birthday with us. They were very friendly. The place is beautiful.

Great view of the harbour (despite the clouds) and lovely atmosphere. Was very impressed with the food, everything we tried was absolutely delicious! Thank you Sasha for looking after us, top notch service! I'd love to come again.

At the recommendation of our bike tour guide, Riley, we tried Ventuno. They sat us quick without a reservation at a table that overlooked the wharf area. Very nice. We order cocktails that were so delicious that we had to order a second round. Had the calamari appetizer, ordered the pork dish and a pasta dish that were cooked well. Didn't really have room for dessert, but they offered some very tempting desserts like tiramisu, lime meringue, yuzu cheesecake, banana foster, etc. Our loss fosho! Very nice people there and would recommend to others to try out.

Fantastic service and fantastic food!! Staff were so lovely and sat us on a table right across from the water. Would definitely go back.

We stumbled upon Ventuno by luck and I had one of my favourite gnocchi dishes ever! The fresh grated truffle on top took it to the next level! Cheese stuffed zucchini flowers were great too! Service was excellent and after seeing the pizzas go by us, we'll have to return! The tiramisu needed a better base, more coffee, and less cocoa though.

After an unexpected stop in the city of Sydney I took to Google to find a good place to stop for lunch and I stumbled across Ventuno, was glad I did, the food was delicious and served up very quickly, fresh and faultless in every way, my waitress Sasha was very polite and friendly with good recommendations, I took her work on the dark chocolate brownie with the salted caramel ice cream and I’m glad that I did, perfectly balanced dessert to finish off a great meal.

My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary and they made it feel really special. Lovely view and wonderfully topped but a top notch pizza. They also provided us with a. Complimentary dessert with a personalised note. Don't go to Sydney often but will be going back when next in town.

I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough! One of the finest in Sydney. I find myself returning at least once a week! Exquisite food. Excellent staff and sublime atmosphere. 5 stars plus.

I had my 21st birthday in the private room at Ventuno and it was great! The food was amazing and all of my guests were really impressed. The service was great, the two main staff looking after the event were very attentive and made sure I was happy with everything. We have been Ventuno guests for many years and will continue to be for years to come. Thank you Ventuno for hosting my event!

Awesome Italian restaurant around the pier! The food were really good and authentic. The pizza is a must-try and best served when it just come out. The calamari is also great, very soft and perfectly breaded. The place is always crowded so you may need to make a reservation. The ambience is good and you can opt to sit with the view of the pier. We'd definitely come back again when we come to Sydney.

Absolutely amazing food and drinks. Every single dish we ordered was perfection, the flavours were amazing. The cocktail list at this restaurant is incredible and every drink is so enjoyable to drink. This restaurant is better than most fine dining restaurants. I highly recommend going for lunch and sitting by the water, it is a beautiful ambiance. Pasta and pizza is highly recommended!! Get the passionfruit cocktail!

We were a group of 8 dining at lunch on Easter Saturday. We shared a variety of entrees, mains, and desserts, all of which were excellent, beautifully done, plenty of variety and interest, while retaining balance. My favourites were the handmade burrata, slow cooked lamb shoulder, and cheesecake. Regarding the cheesecake, the good news: a surprise - the best I've ever had; the bad news: I doubt I'll properly enjoy another cheesecake until I go back to Ventuno. The location by the water is great. The staff were great; I appreciate the opportunity to meet them. Altogether it was a wonderful experience. Looking forward to going back. Particular thanks to Tom for his efficient yet genial and good-humoured service. Thanks too for the Easter eggs! Particularly that one special egg ...

Fresh and delicious food (and drinks!) at the perfect location to soak in the amazing view and atmosphere of being in Sydney! I had the strozzapreti pasta (with seafood) and it was perfect. Another tip is to get a pizza with extra burrata on top. Great service as well. Highly recommended.
