Mathinna Oval

Heaps of space as the whole oval is open for camping. Toilets are clean, 2 toilets, 2 shower/toilets wheelchair accessible, rubbish bins - emptied regularly, BBQ, undercover picnic tables, playground, big shelter shed with picnic table & fireplace. Pub, a short walk up the road, has great pizzas most Friday and Saturday nights with very good prices on drinks. Great place to stay while exploring Ben Lomond, Mithinna Falls, old gold mining areas etc.

A nice quite town and area. Camping area on the oval. There was seating in the open and covered areas. BBQ area, toilets. Fire place in covered area. Not bad location to stop off to make a cuppa 👍

Excellent place to stop. Covered picnic table with wood BBQ. Electric BBQ with picnic tables outside. Toilets very clean. Kids playground. We enjoyed our lunch stop.

One of the most beautiful tucked away towns, not full of tourists, but all tourists are made to feel welcome, great amenities for camping. Its a real must see place.
