Flash Jacks of Gundagai

After a late start and traffic bumper to bumper on the way from Newcastle, it was lovely to find my luxury room at Flash Jacks. It was a calm oasis and was a welcome relief for this tired traveller. I was so happy to stay and will again, but would highly recommend it.

Michelle made our day, we were a very late booking enroute back to Melb and she made us feel welcome before we even arrived, even suggesting we call ahead to book a meal at the pub which worked perfectly! And wow what a room!! We’ve definitely found our new favourite stopover for future road trips! Thanks Michelle

Quietly luxurious rooms and very well located in the centre of Gundagai for breaking up the Melbourne to Sydney journey. Two free type2 EV chargers was a bonus too

Stayed here with my family across two adjacent rooms. Beautifully appointed, very clean, super comfy beds, nice linen and just the right amount of creature comforts. Huge bathrooms!!! The ideal place to stay on your road trip between Sydney and Melbourne.

Stayed in Premium King Room as an overnight stay travelling from Bowral to Melbourne . Beautiful old building & room & ensuite have been renovated with great style to create comfort & character . Easy booking & communication with Michelle after having had to delay this stay due to illness back in March . Will be staying again as out stopover between Melbourne & Sydney.

Loved our stay at Flash Jacks. We stayed for one night as we drove from Sydney to Albury and it was a lovely and comfortable night. We had the family room which was perfect with two kids.

It was surprisingly warm that we had to turn the aircon on so I guess that room has great insulation which is good on a cold winters night.

My only feedback would be that the fridge was very full of paid drinks that it was hard to fit my children’s food in the fridge but we managed.

They hosts were great providing all the info we needed to self check in was very simple.

Our stay was completely by surprise, we did not expect to ever have the need to stay in Gundagai. As it turns out as it turns out our stay was such a lucky surprise, the rooms were gorgeous. The air conditioning worked well. We watched a nice shows and had a lovely country dinner at one of the pubs that was a two minute walk there and a 10 minute stumble home.

Quality accommodation in Gundagai if wanting something better than a motel. Well thought out renovation to historic building that started life as a convent, has been a school and many other uses prior to its current use. Managed with self check in that is efficently and clearly communicated plus easy to follow. Plenty of off street parking. Some rooms are only accessible on pebbled stone paths which may not suit if have heavy luggage. Other rroms have level paved access. Top quality fittings, furnishings and linen. Quiet oernight and short walk to town facilities.

We spent one night here during a recent road trip and loved everything about our stay. The communication prior to arriving with instructions for check in and about Gundagai in general was excellent. Our room was beautifully appointed with a very comfy bed and a fantastic bathroom. As a bonus EV charging is provided which made our continued trip a breeze the next morning. I highly recommend this hotel!

Best place in town. Love the rooms, so easy to book and get access to your room. Great window seat, we sat in the sun in winter and it was nice and warm. Views from the rooms were nice overlooking town. Shirt6 walk to cafes and food.

Perfect in every way!
Bed, pillows, linen, towels amenities and everything was top quality.
Very clean room and bathroom, spacious and comfortable with easy contactless check in/out.
TV with big screen and lots of access to channels , it’s is our second stay and we will be back.

Absolutely the best! I suggest you drive Mel-Syd just to stay here.. totally classy .. room decor minimalist, original and superbly chosen, bathroom a delight.. spotless white…safe tiles..rain shower... with a big farm type sliding wood door for privacy. We back next week on our return!

Enjoyed our recent stay at a beautifully curated, clean, accommodation with easy parking, comfortable bed, attention to detail and a super relaxing vibe. Very spacious and close to everything in town. Would definitely recommend flash jacks for a quiet country getaway with someone special.

We stayed for one night at Flash Jacks and absolutely loved our stay. The rooms are luxe and very comfortable, with a huge bathroom and a great shower. Nice mini bar stocked with wines and beet and key-less entry, and quick Wifi. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Flash Jacks! The decor and feel of the place was so lovely, quiet and chill . We walked around the corner & got pizza for dinner, we bought it back and ate it on the balcony as the sun went down. Perfection 👌🏽 Will be back for sure!

Flash Jacks was superb! The perfect sanctuary to rest between Sydney and Melbourne. The accomodation is beautifully appointed with quality fittings and aesthetically calm, the bed was divine and the whole place was charming and unique. I’ll definitely be back!
