Royal Hotel

Passing through Gatton on a work trip, stayed one night at the Royal Hotel.
Room was small and simple, but clean and comfortable with great AC.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Connor, who was extremely helpful and thorough in giving us a tour of the hotel and attending to our needs. Connor provided great service to us and all other bar patrons throughout the evening.
For dinner, we ordered steaks from the bistro, which were excellent and cooked to perfection.

It was a great experience to have lunch or dinner at this restaurant. The food is delicious and perfectly cooked at your request. The steak was so yummy. Thank you for your hospitality, Royal Hotel Gatton.

Steaks were amazing and massive!

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at The Royal Hotel tonight. The food was excellent (a credit to the chefs), and very reasonably priced as they allow Seniors specials for both lunch and dinner. The young staff were most courteous and helpful.
We particularly appreciated their helpful advice regarding the various options.
Many thanks for giving us one of the very best meals on our 5 week trip.

The chicken satay skewers were awesome. We went in a big group of about 20 and the food was served very fast. I will be back next time I'm in gatton

Very friendly staff who made us welcome and showed us to our table.
The food was excellent and well cooked and presented but the carrots were too crunchy as i have no teeth.
Minimal wait time and food was hot when served.
The dining room had a great presence, nice decor, clean, quiet and inviting
My only gripe is that the toilets although functional were not acceptable in cleanliness.

Certainly the best pub food in Gatton and we will definitely giving you more of our business

Great country town pub. The food is always fantastic, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the patrons are friendly. Best feed in Gatton.
Also very wheelchair friendly with additional easy back access to the restaurant if you ask the staff.

We were in Gatton from out of town on business. We had dinner at the Royal Hotel with our 2 year old. The atmosphere was perfect, the meals were brought out in order of entrees and mains in a timely fashion with the perfect time between. The prices were very acceptable for the great quality of the meals.

The steak was cooked perfectly and the staff were very hospitable.
We turned up on Saturday night without a reservation not expecting it to be busy.
The staff were courteous and the meals were out very quickly and cooked brilliantly.

TRAVELLERS, TAKE NOTE... I was in Gatton for 3 nights for work. The Royal is the ONLY place you need to know about when considering eating out in Gatton and 5 stars doesn't seem to be enough. After working 14 hour days, the beer was ice cold, as it should be, and well priced. But the food was just sensational and also very well priced. Every dish was a winner, from calamari, to parmi's and especially the 400gm rump steak was just sensational and cooked to perfection. On top of that the staff were also amazing. Super friendly, fun to deal with and nothing was a problem for them which added to a top notch pub experience. Huge kudos to the chef (name unknown), and/or kitchen team. Exceptional work on the food. This place really topped off what i was expecting to be another mundane work trip.

The best so far nice hospitality great place to dine in no troubles whatsoever, cool atmosphere.

The food was great and awesome service

We were in Gatton for an appliance pick-up and called in at the Royal Hotel for lunch. The old building has had a facelift, modernising the entire Bistro restaurant. Food was excellent and the wait staff friendly. Parking was on the street, right outside the Bistro entrance. No stairs so perfect access for "old knees". A good experience.🙂

Had a delicious meal. The slow cooked lamb shank was really tender. Didn't even need the knife. Also loved the service from Ebony, Jade and Grace. They both were always kind and had a smile on their face when serving.

Friendly staff, good short lunch menu and what can I say about the steak? It was absolutely perfect, so tender and cooked perfectly, in fact all 5 meals were perfect including steak sandwich, 10/10 we will be back 100% thankyou royal hotel gatton

The steaks are cooked exactly right. I've had more overcooked steaks than I can count. But doneness here is precise.
Pretty loud as the evening wore on. Go early if you like quiet.

Love the place. Had a few big wins on the polkis and free coke for polki players is great as I'm usually very thirsty from my walk to get there lol great friendly staff and they also have good prices for a nights stay, which also saved me there one night when I was stranded. Thank you to the royal hotel.
