Mondo Nougat

After a wine tasting in the Swan Valley today, my wife and brother and sister in law decided to go to Mondos Nougat for nougat sampling and afternoon tea.
The genuine Italian hospitality from staff, keen to ensure that we enjoyed their hospitality and wares was exceptional.
We had coffees exactly to order and a selection of the amazing pastries from the extensive range on display.
The level of service, quality of offerings and very reasonable price on offer at 3:00 pm on a Friday afternoon was exceptional and highly recommended.
The offerings of icecream and other drinks were noted along with the extensive range of nougat styles and mixes we have long enjoyed.
It is also worth mentioning that the premises were immaculately clean, including toilets / wash rooms with great attention to detail by management.
Also to note is good flat access through wide door ways for wheelchair attendees.
Highly recommended and we will be taking friends back for sure.

You think Morish Nuts is good? Yes, it's excellent beyond description, but so is Mondo Nougat and not just for its nougat. This is a fantastic place to get some sugar in ya to settle the bitterness of the wines you've been tasting and the sourness of your life.

The rum-baba is criminally good and might even put you over the limit if you're driving, so proceed with caution. But man oh man, it is one of the heartiest and memorable pastries I've had in town. The Italian owner, Mario (I think) is warm, generous and terrifyingly good human being. He'll do a better job on warming you all over probably more than that wine you've been tasting.

A variety of tasty soft nougat available here. Located right next to Morish Nuts so it's also quite convenient for both stores. Workers here are super friendly and social. Nice place for a cup of coffee to relax as well.

Stopped in this place on a whim. We just happen to be in the area and the opportunity presented itself. I have never actually had nougat, so I didn’t really know what to expect. The lady behind the counter was very nice and offered me the opportunity to try a sample. Low and behold that make some delicious stuff! I ended up buying a sampler bag to bring back to the US with me. Also would like to make the tour one of these days when I return. A very enjoyable unexpected visit!

**Update. If I knew that Nougat was so damn good I would have bought more of it!!

The nougat here is delicious and they allow you to try samples. Great you can buy a mixed bag with all flavours and they come individually wrapped

Great place to stop when you're in the Swan Valley area. Friendly staff, great selection of nougat and a lot more to offer including gelato, chocolate, pastries and hot drinks too.

A good selection of nougat and the prices are reasonable. There is a cafe inside which is also good. Plenty of parking.

Nougat freaks delight and the coffee is good.. Must try the rum-baba! You will need a breathalyser afterwards - it's that good!

Cheaper to buy from here than in town or airport. Go if you are in swan valley

Really lovely products, but today I want to feature these macadamia slices. Just yum and you cant stop at one.. Try some folks, they are on another level.

Great shop which is very popular with tourists. So many gluten free products to choose from. The nougat selection is just amazing. So many to choose from

Worth a visit if you head down under. Most Singaporeans are familiar with the brand GB (with a crown) Nougat as they are smart enough to do a tie up with NTUC Fairprice to bring it into the heartland but GB is mass produced by machine whereas this brand Mondo is handmade. For those who have strong teeth, you'll enjoy this more as the content is denser. I find this brand lots more solid than the GB brand. A fellow Singaporean who has become an Australian citizen mans the shop. It's always nice to bump into fellow Singaporeans when travelling. Lots of variety of Nougats here and I couldn't find this brand in any supernarts in Perth, let alone in SG. Oh forgot to mention the crucial bit - pricing. It's pricier than the GB brand but it's more solid!

A must visit if you are heading to Swan Valley! This is so much better than the more generic and "popular" brand that's sold everywhere else. I prefer Mondo because it's a softer nougat so it's more enjoyable and easier to chew. You also get free nougat samples (1 per person) from a list of flavours.

The nougat factory is a lovely visit. Plenty of nougat to buy, coffees and food, and there's a sample for you if you ask for it. They don't throw around their samples, and that helps reinforce the idea that it's a valuable treat. An unusual feature we noticed is two Tesla chargers in the car park!

It's closed some of the Christmas season, so do ask.
