beautifully located with great views into the bushland. The food was great and presented well. The Thai milk tea was such a surprise! Service was very friendly as well. Would Definitely visit again if going past.

Ohhh my god. Where do I start. I couldn’t get home fast enough to leave a review for this place. We really had no idea what to expect for a little tucked away restaurant in the hills but the food here is exceptional. We had the red curry and the slow cooked Massaman lamb - the flavours were mouth watering, the curry was perfectly spicy and creamy, and we both audibly gasped when the lamb fell off the bone. Such a great fusion of Thai and Western styles and flavours.

Can’t wait to come back. Please patronise this restaurant so they can stay open forever!

First time visiting this place, Little bit hidden to the side of the highway. Big breakfast was the best I've had to date. Better than dome's!! Friendly staff nice atmosphere and good prices. Will go back one evening to try their Thai food. Highly recommend.

Awesome experience last night for our wedding anniversary. Stella service from the manager/owner who tended to everyone last night. Food was really good with very generous portions. I had a stir fry and the flavour was exceptional while my wife had the barramundi. We were stuffed by the end of it.

Will definitely come back and recommend to our friends.

Second time having a big Brekky here sitting next to a warm fire. Drove up through the mist and clouds this morning, so beautiful. Amazing food and fantastic friendly service. Looking forward to coming for dinner one night.

As a lover of Thai cuisine I was impressed to learn the traditional name of a favorite Gai Pad Med Mamuang aka chicken cashew nut. Friendly service, nice restaurant, generous portions and lovely food. This is a gem give it go.

***NEW OWNERS!!*** the food is by far the best Thai we have had in a long time. We ordered the green curry, pad Thai, coconut rice and massaman beef curry. Generous servings too.
Can not speak highly enough about the food! They have delivered every time!

What a wonderful discovery. Lovely service and even better Thai cuisine. Coffee is great. Carrot cake is great. No matter if you just want a morning tea top up or a full on meal. You will be catered for here. There is also a wonderfully stocked retro collectables shop next door. All in all I would highly recommend this establishment. Cheers Terry n Glenis

With new owners of 6 months now, they are surely excelling in wonderful service and food of Thai and Western cuisine. Very impressed with the meals, very generous servings, with huge amounts of flavour and presentation. Beautiful ambience within and out, with stunning views of the outdoor bushland and comfortable dining restaurant within. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating with leftovers containers to take home the abundance of food we had left over. Highly recommend the Pineapple Rice! Oh my, from someone who isn't much of a Thai cuisine eater, I couldn't get enough! Defiantly will visit again.

My Review in 2021:

Today, after our bushwalk in the Wungong Dam region, we visited Brook 508. The walk was treacherous, but our time at the café was most enjoyable. Our first visit to Brook 508 was in December 2018, and we have been frequenting the café ever since.

Whenever our bushwalk is in the vicinity, we drop into the café for breakfast. I always order an omelette. Previously the café offered all-day breakfast, but in more recent times, breakfast finishes before noon.

Today, we were later than normal and I was hoping that I could still order my favourite dish. Sarah was most accommodating and I was able to enjoy a spinach and tomato omelette. My partner loved the very spicy vegetarian Pad Khe Mao Noodles dish. A typical example of East meets West.

Da, the barista made me the perfect cup of coffee, exactly how I like it, piping hot.

We both enjoyed our experience at Brook 508, today.

Perth's best kept secret is in Roleystone at Brook 508 Cafe. The food is excellent and the owners are more than happy to accommodate you, whatever the need. The staff are very friendly and obliging. We visited the cafe for the first time today and were very impressed.The staff member that took our order was friendly, efficient and accommodating.

Owners were so friendly!!!They’ve just taken over 6 months ago and it was lovely to meet them and have a chat about food and life…..the lady owner gave me a lot of great advice about Thai food! My partner and I shared a few entrees including spring rolls, chicken skewers, curry puffs and I forget the rest lol each one was as delicious as the next!!! I had the red beef curry which was AMAZING. Couldn’t fault any of the food. The owner informed me some nights her daughter does traditional Thai dancing there, we intend to go back again and again. Highly recommend!!! Thankyou for giving us a taste sensation!!!!

We drove pass on the way back to Perth from Esperance. Dropped in for quick takeaway, lovely staff, nice atmosphere and good food. We had spring rolls and chu chi prawns which were good.

What a little gem of a place so homely. The lady who works there is so warm and welcoming to my son every time we go and the food is great.

The service was amazing every friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is fantastic have music playing but still able to have a conversation.
The food was fantastic, with fair prices with what you get very filling.

It is my understanding this gem of a restaurant has a new owner. Never been here before and what a delightful refreshing little place. The food servings are generous and totally enjoyed sitting next to the wood heater eating one of the best yellow curries I have ever had. 5 huge prawns in a dish is rare these days. My partner had a noodle dish and wow, it was delicious. The location and views are stunning. I will definitely be recommending this place to all my friends. Thanks to Peter and staff for good old fashioned food and service 🙂

So grateful to have fantastic authentic Thai food available in Roleystone down the road from my house. We often get takeaway and the servings are generous and very fresh.

What a gem! I had the pleasure of dining here for lunch today. Beautiful food, relaxing atmosphere and great service.
It was pretty busy so service was, understandably, a bit slow, however, the staff were lovely and it was a very pleasant place to sit and talk while waiting.
The food was delicious and worth the small wait!! I left feeling full and very satisfied.
If you are in the area, it is well worth stopping for a meal. I know I'll be calling in again :)
