Thai La-Ong - Parramatta

Had lunch today with a friend and the food was amazing! The Pad See Ew was well seasoned, sweet and salty and tasted great. My friend also enjoyed their Pad Thai very well. Definitely will be returning 👍

Choosing Thai La-Ong for my colleague's farewell party was definitely the best decision. Booking the place was easy. The location is just 500 mtrs from Parramatta station.

Once we arrived, the staff were very courteous and friendly. Food was served very quickly and as mentioned in most reviews, the food was very tasty and served hot. Stir fried vermicelli and curry puffs were mouth watering. Definitely a place to come back again and again.

One of better beef massaman curries I've had $20, rice $4, beers $6. Good cheap eats venue!

We went there in the afternoon around 3pm for late lunch, Eat Street at Parramatta has numerous restaurants and cafes.

If you feel like Thai, this is one of the places to go.

For starters we ordered mixed platter. They include one Satay Chicken skewer, money bag, curry puff and spring roll. Nice taster plate so I know what to order next time.

For mains, we ordered BBQ Pork with Rice, Chicken Laksa, Peanut Sauce Chicken. All were nice and arrived within 10 minutes.

If you are in the area, this place is highly recommend.

From the moment you walk in, and are greeted with a chilled bottle of water and cups, together with a menu and a smile, this restaurant is awesome !
Their Seafood Laksa for just $18 is probably THE BEST version of my favourite dish that I have ever had !
No pressure, friendly service, willing to add extra chilli and ensure the massive soup bowl is full, just top of a great dining experience.

I recently had the pleasure of trying Thai food for the first time, and I have to say that my experience was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish, everything about the meal was both delicious and enjoyable.

To begin with, the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu was full of enticing options, but the staff was incredibly helpful in guiding me towards some of their most popular dishes.

When the food arrived, I was blown away by how incredible it looked and smelled. Each dish was bursting with flavor, from the tangy, savory pad thai to the spicy, aromatic green curry. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and every bite left me wanting more.

All in all, I cannot recommend this Thai restaurant highly enough. If you're looking for delicious food, gorgeous decor, and impeccable service, this is the place for you. And as someone who was new to the world of Thai cuisine, I can confidently say that it's an experience that everyone should try at least once - you won't be disappointed!

Such great food and lots of options, went with my toddler who they catered for with a toddler plate and cutlery, we didn’t even need to ask. They bring out the food promptly after ordering too and it’s so yum!

Food - I had the pad see iew (&13)
and the satay chicken skewers in curry powder($9) both was really great tasting and super filling.

Atmosphere - prefect lighting and sound does not seem to travel so it a great place for talking while eating. The chair are nice to sit on and table are good to.

Service - waitress was really nice and food was very quick. Free prawn chips when you come make it extra good.

All 3 entree’s just delicious. Curry Puffs my favourite. I had the Chicken Cashew Nut Stir Fry for main, was very tasty and nice. Nice surroundings. Great service. I recommend Thai La-Ong for sure 👍🏻

We ordered the chicken cashew and the mixed seafood pepper and garlic lunch special today. The seafood was cooked perfectly, the chicken was juicy. It tastes absolutely amazing and reminded me of the flavours you get in Thailand. Very authentic cuisine and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a cheap eat with full flavour. I would definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Had low expectations when they told me curry sauces were pre made.
Was pleasantly surprised by a well turned out off menu tofu larb. A very good Prik King and tofu with dipping sauce. Very happy. Will order again.

Have been here 7-8 times and the food, service, and prices have always been outstanding. My personal favourite is the BBQ Pork. Definitely my local Thai restaurant of choice.

We visited this restaurant a few years ago when it was still on the main eatery street. Visited again today during lunch and had a couple of the $13 lunch specials. Great tasting food and value. The restaurant was quiet though, hope the it is doing OK.

Quick and excellent staff service. Nice place. Serving size, especially the pad thai, was big.

Friendly staff, good service, good food. It seems impossible to find a perfect vegan pad see iew in Sydney but these guys are a solid 8/10 for flavour. Much better than the one in Westfield Parramatta food court that's for sure! Keep up the great work guys.

Extremely good food and great prices. Service is fast and exceptional.
