15 Jan 2024 arrive for a blood test only to find a note on lhe windows to say office closed today not Good enough for a no appointment blood test and having to catch a bus from Midway Point to Sorell. Update -a rep rang me to let me knoe why it happened, due to illness and if I had checked online they had it there that office would be closed.

Terrible Pathology service!!
Arrived at 830 for bloods to be taken that needed results to be available to guide chemo treatment the next day. Was not seen until after 930 despite being first in the cue and no other clients being seen. Was only told after the bloods were taken that results would not be available for 24hours! Have been advised by Holmen clinic never to use this service again. Evidently they fly the bloods to Brisbane for processing. Very slow and unreliable.
Staff also uninformative re process for collecting bloods. Just pointed to a closed door and told to take a ticket and wait, with no explanation as to why that might take over an hour first thing in the morning. I will not be recommending this service.. The 1 star is only because it won't let me post unless I press a star.
