What a beautiful place to spend time with the family!
We camped in a tent for the weekend, amenities readily available, fishing, beach, shops not far. Ideal place. We will be back!

Great spot to stay, we were in caravan and the site was spacious and easy to pull in. We were at the Cellito beach end of the park which was beautiful and an easy walk from the site. Amenities were well kept and it was nice an quite.

I was only there for the day. Lovely and quite atmosphere surrounded by the beautiful forest.

What a spot! Sandbar & Bushland’s Caravan Park is by far the best place to stay on the Mid North Coast, if not all of Australia. We have been coming for many years now and every time we come we have the best time! It’s truly a special location and the campground is phenomenal! Best of the beach and the river; beautiful native wildlife; incredible serenity and large spacious sites! The management team and staff are all incredibly helpful and kind. Always go above and beyond to facilitate the needs of their guests!

Amazing caravan park where bushlands meet the ocean. Very well maintained and peaceful. Great value. Haven't been for 10 years and was still blown away at its location. Definitely be back.

I have camped here for the past 55 years. Our whole family loves the natural beauty and we think this is the best natural camping ground in all of Australia as it has access to the lake for small children and the beaches when they get a little bigger. Heaps of great physical activity for kids...gets them off the gadgets. Love it.

One of my go to places to get away. Don't expect 5 star and you won't be disappointed, powered and unpowered camp sites caravan sites and cabins. Beautiful lake and 4wd access to the beach. I would normally go out of season it's less crowded so more relaxing

One of the best camping grounds on the east coast of NSW. I love coming here - the staff are great and Smiths is a beautiful lake and cellito beach is one of the best. There is also a golf course and the park is within an easy drive of lots of other attractions. Probably the most affordable camping ground around these days.

Top spot. Nice golf course. Good beaches. Good staff and really good rates. Massive spots to canp on too. Not all brand new mod con stuff but washing machines clothes lines hot showers. Good👍

Sandbar is the best natural bushland camp ground on the East Coast.
It's lake and proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches is second to none and the abundance of wildlife, both on land and marine is amazing.
My children loved going 'free range', using nothing but their imaginations, during the many, many holidays we spent at Sandbar. We still spend a couple of months a year there now we are retired and our family's next generation of little people are just learning the treasures that abound in this special natural playground.
I highly recommend that you take your kids 'off the grid' and get back to nature for a weekend or two.

We had a great week camping with the kids. Just a perfect location with the lake and beach both in easy walking distance. Great kayaking, fishing and swimming (watch for Jellyfish in the Lake though). The rain forest boardwalk to Celito beach for a swim and rock-pool fossick was a favourite.

This place is fantastic. Great for kids. Has the lake right on your doorstep. The beach is only a 7 min walk. Bush walking tracks. Has fire pits. A varity of cabins. Fantastic views from the top.

Best beach to drive on in the Mid North Coast

Stay there last weekend . We'll it's not 5 star however they don't charge 5 star . Had the best time the staff were super friendly and all in al a great place to stay helpful
