How can anyone not understand country hospitality . quiche was excellent . This is a must see and experience for locals who have not experienced peace and tranquillity . Just 25 minutes from Midland beautiful roads , explore perth its free to drive anywhere in this beautiful state .

Lovely cafe in the hills. Nothing to fault, well worth the trip as there are some great rides/drives in the area. Good lunch spot.

Lovely owners who served up a wonderful meal despite us arriving nearing their closing time.

Great place to stop for a break when riding the Kep Track. Also has bike racks. The service is friendly and the place is even better since they extended onto the wider verandah.

Best breakfast. The whole lot including coffee was scrumptious. Everyone needs to experience the taste, the ambience and the staff offer the loveliest of service. Ohhh and do yourselves a favour and taste the fruit mince pies. A total taste sensation from the first bite. Not something you want to share as its too good to give away. And there's more to offer. I can dribble on further, but it just makes my mouth water thinking about the food in the bakery.

Great little cafe in the Hills, does a good range of breakfast and coffee. Popular with cyclists.

All homemade cooking great coffee and tea. Service is excellent and you have quite country setting. Definitely worth a visit or more. Staff make the place and top marks for this cafe for coffee in the bush

What a beautiful little piece of paradise. Service is good old country style and the food is good. Yes, you might pay a little more, but the quality is worth it. Definitely worth the drive up there 👍🤩

Loved the wonderful atmosphere sitting outside on the verandah on a warm saturday night - live classical piano played by the talented Mix Margaret. BayTree people you have created a beautiful setting! The food was lovely too especially as we needed to accomodate meat eaters, coeliacs and vegan/vegetarians - quite a big ask for a small restaurant but nothing was too much trouble. The people were attentive and friendly - we all loved it! Support your locals you will not be disappointed.

Enjoyed lunch after a long 3 hour ride from Perth on the heritage trail.
I would highly recommend the Guinness Pie and qinnao salad at $12.

I love a pie and I've eaten plenty in my time- the chicken and brie pie at this place is hands down the best pie I've ever had. Staff are always friendly and the cakes never let you down either!

It's not often you find a place that mixes cozy and great food together these days. This place does. Also I recommend the Beef and Red Wine pie and the cinnamon sticks are to die for.

For the past 4 years we have had coffee and cakes at the Bay Tree after a day's walking. The food and service has been consistently excellent.
