Cafe Freda’s

Great location and overall vibe, on the corner of Taylorsquare on Oxford. The range in the menu and options on the drinks list were very good. The service and staff were welcoming and we were served promptly with water being topped up when required. The oysters were fresh and with the hot sauce they were delicious, the prices are reasonable also. I highly recommend Cafe Freda’s and will be revisiting soon

One of my favourite spots in Sydney to wine and dine.

The food is fantastic! The curry leaf scallops and oysters are phenomenal and the ceviche is one of the best I've ever had (and I LOVE ceviche).

There are some great cocktails and really interesting wines on offer. The staff are bubbly and the atmosphere is always fun.

The prime location on Taylor Square makes it great for a sunset aperitivo (and people watching). DJs soundtrack the weekend evenings perfectly.

I recommend Freda's 11/10!

Fav spot to catch up with friends. Good range of drinks that you normally won’t expect to have in Sydney. My only problem is always the sometimes unfriendly service… some days they could be so lovely but sometimes some people who works there giving the vibe of “not wanting to be here” . Overall, yeah good bar

Small but perfectly formed menu, sufficient to satisfy varied palates. Very good cocktails, served by hip yet attentive and friendly staff. Outdoor tables good for people watching, indoor to feel the DJ vibes.

Freda's is a unique Cafe and bar on the Oxford Street strip. Expect impeccable bar and table service with a cool, queer vibe. Occasional vinyl is mixed by one of the owners just to add to the atmosphere. Especially enjoyable on a sunny afternoon, to people watch from a premium Taylor square vantage point. The tapas type dishes are high quality

Great venue, all the food we had was delicious and the cocktails are awesome! DJs playing really great underground tunes! Staff were super friendly, highly recommended.

Good to see this spot used up again for people watching. Food is great for an afternoon snack on a sunny day with a drink in hand.

A group of 5 friends went there for dinner and drinks. The dinner menu is small, between the 5 of us, we could almost try everything on the menu. But the food was delicious. The location is excellent, at the corner of Oxford and Flinders streets with outdoor seating. Great spot for people watching too.

Enjoyed a lovely evening at Cafe Fredas . The food was very tasty. I recommend the delicious Burrata, jamon and rockmelon dish and the creative green salad.The ambience was lovely and service was attentive and thoughtful.

Always saw this place packed in the evenings so tried it with a group of friends for the first time and we were so impressed! Each dish was soooo tasty and the wine list was so extensive! Highly recommend the oysters, dan dan noodles and brisket if you're lucky enough to have it on the menu on the night. We'll definitely be back soon.

Went for a nightcap here on a Saturday night. Fantastic to have a venue like this open till midnight in Sydney (we need more!). Great range of drinks and staff were great with service.

Really good vibes. Service was attentive and the menu was small but hit the spot. We went for drinks and have a really nice time sitting on an outside table for a chat.

This is the kind of place Sydney needs more of. Unpretentious, fun with an awesome menu. Location is great for people watching right on Taylor Square. Keen to see some more DJs to go along with lunch or dinner. Nice work!
