Estelita's Filipino Kusina Parramatta

A culinary journey that will transport you directly to the Philippines is waiting for you at this place. Modern space accented with Philippine touches, making this an inviting place to be. Flavoursome food with generous portion size, perfect for sharing.

Discovered this place in April 2021, walking through eat street when it first opened. I was greeted by the lovely owner who was eager to share the menu, the story and invite me back.

Menu - order the authentic Filipino dishes although they do cater for some western tastebuds. All dishes I've tried have my tick of approval.

Recommend going as a group for dinner as it's shared, family meal size servings or drop by for their lunch special for rice, pancit (noodles) and choice of dish!

Kare Kare - don't tell mum, but it's better then hers! And they use ox tail (others use beef pieces and it's just not the same)
Pinakbet - all the veggies topped with crispy pork. Almost as good as mums.
Sizzling sisig - perfect with beer!
Palabok - all the flavours, like lola (grandma) used to make.
Crispy Pata (pork hock) & lechon kawali (fried pork) - to the crisp and the dipping sauce is a plus.
Bulalo - perfect for a cool day. Osso bucco meat was tender, broth was flavoursome and packed with veggies.
Dessert - selection of cakes, kakanin and halo halo available.

Ambience - good for family or group of friends. Can't want to have the band back!

Service - has come a long way since first visit. The team are friendly, easy going and willing to help with the menu choices.

Price - similar to family style restaurants in the area understandable considering location, large serving portions and quality ingredients.

Authentic Filipino cuisine, big servings, most mains are $20-30 and can feed 2 people if you get rice and sides.

Delicious, wholesome soul food right on Eat Street. Big portions, perfect for sharing (as we do with Pinoy food). Prices are fair considering location of this small family business and the serving sizes. This sinigang na baboy and 1 serving of rice is perfect for a cold winter night’s dinner for 2, plus leftovers for baon - for only $20 per person. Grateful to have tasty homecooked style food prepared by a great Kapampangan chef, so close to home. Salamat po, Estelita’s!

Delectable Filipino dishes. Price is reasonable for the quality and quantity. Staff were very accommodating.

Great hygiene. Clean atmosphere. Kind humble service. Dishes had a home cooking high quality feel to them.

Ordered palabok and crispy pata for dinner and both were flavourful and good portions. Can’t wait to try the sisig next time!
