Marubang Korean BBQ Meat & Drink

This Korean bbq and meat restaurant is quite an institution for the variety of dishes on offer. You can get pretty much any major Korean dish here from the soups and stews, Korean pancake, noodles, meat dishes through to BBQ. They seem to separate the BBQ diners into a separate more aerated or outdoor section to reduce the otherwise inevitable smell for all diners.

Dish sizes, especially the delicious perfectly braised pork dishes are huge and combined with the condiments very satisfying. It's a great speciality here in a comforting way. Other dishes we had were also humbly great to round off the meal, but I thought the pancake could have had more flavour in the batter and be crispier.

It's a large restaurant, but it still gets pretty busy and staff cope well enough. To help with service, each table has a button to call wait staff, and there's an online ordering system to make things more efficient with payment at the end of the meal.

Loved the food~ We went during lunch, so it wasn't busy. I've been craving the marinated raw crab 😍 I heard some said it was fishy, but it was good that day and not fishy. 😋 Too bad they don't offer the combo anymore. I'm definitely going back to try the spicy marinated raw crab and the marinated salmon since they also didn't have it. And the bossam!!!

Extremely busy place with perfect korean taste to go to. Dont forget to book ahead otherwise prepare to be turned down.

The only downside is that the amount of condiments that they provide is not free flow. Kimchi you need to pay extra $1 for a small plate. Garlic you need to keep always ask for more and the jjang sauce is so little being provided, no matter how much platter you ordered.

Apart from those, they were fantastic.

It's one of my fav restaurants. Food always serves fresh and doesn't make you waste single penny you are paying.

The staffs here are lovely and always friendly. Their dishes never disappoint, especially their Bossam. It was our first time trying the raw beef but it tasted so good and fresh! Definitely recommend :)

We came here for dinner at 5pm and it was a little stuffy.. It would be better to turn on the Air-Con earlier. I didn’t drink.

Every dish we ordered was delicious and the soup was great as well.
Highly recommend this Korean restaurant.

Great KBBQ upstairs. Easy to book online. Hotplate was nice and sizzling, very well set up, extraction fans have a great light attachment. Comparatively priced to other KBBQ's. Make sure to order the Kimchi Pancake too!

Downstairs are for the ala-carte meals. We've had the meat platters and the raw seafood, crab, and prawns! In special soy sauce, a Korean delicacy

Food is amaziiin, service is amazing!! Very much recommended!

We went for spicy mini pork knuckles, non-spicy pork knuckles and gu-poo noodles.
My little one love non spicy version. Me and my husband love spicy one. It was so good!
However he couldn't finish it because it was too spicy for him. If you can't eat spicy food... then never think about to try this 🤣

A few days ago, I arrived on the first floor to eat jokbal and bossam set. Everything was satisfied with the appearance of my daughter who ate deliciously.

When I went first time, I was surprised to I can have JockBal in Perth even I couldn't have in Melbourne, it was exactly same as Korea. And I was back tonight and I had Korean BBQ(pork belly) and Wagyu. It was amazing! There are high quality Wagyu I've never had before. I totally recommend you whoever are looking for Korean restaurant

First time dining at Marubang Korean BBQ. It is a big surprise that they have a good Wagyu lineup with reasonable price. The staff and manager was kind and friendly. I will definitely be back. Recommended!

Wide selection on the menu to suit your budget. Extra sides is $1 and there is a small salad bar with lettuce and onion.

We ordered Jokbal set for 2. It was perfect. We switched hot noodles to cold noodles. I've been dying to eat an authentic jokbal and this place met my expectation.

Bossam is their popular main course. We ordered crispy octopus as entree and its so yummy, and the soup / sundubo jjigae is perfect for cold weather

Order a set menu for two people, big portion enough for two to three people, taste great and reasonable price. All the staff are very friendly! Visit second time already!

Nice Korean bbq, great service. It could have more options in the salad bar but overall is a great place.
